The exam system access given by Dean Fan for their use was the one normally employed by the professors, so it wasn't very intelligent; they had to choose their major and grade level themselves.

Following his directions, Shen Zhiqiao first selected the Department of Biomedical Sciences, then in the grade column, changed the system's default from senior to sophomore and hit enter, which brought up all the professional course exams included in this round of testing.
Everything else was completed, submitted, and locked by the system, leaving just the last one.
Shen Zhiqiao clicked open, entered her student ID number, and began the exam.
At 12:50, with over 40 minutes to spare before the official exam time ended, Shen Zhiqiao turned in her paper early, having finished all the contents.
