Dongfang's expression was very serious as he spoke, something very rare on his usually arrogant face.
In his left hand, he held a box, a square wooden box with elaborate craftsmanship, containing something unknown.
"Good morning, Dongfang," Shen Li managed to squeeze out a smile and greeted Dongfang, feeling a hint of hidden disappointment.
The fact that Huo Siyu had arranged for Dongfang to see her meant that they wouldn't meet at least until after lunch.
"What's wrong? You look terrible, smiling worse than crying," said Dongfang, a stern expression on his face, though his biting nature hadn't changed at all.
"Woke up too early and got a bit of a headache," Shen Li made up an excuse, trying to look more natural, and immediately asked, "What did you want to see me about?"
Without answering, Dongfang just gestured Shen Li to come with a crook of his finger.
Shen Li followed him, and the two sat down in a side room; Dongfang opened the box he was carrying.
