In the end, Huo Tianqi still couldn't get the better of Huo Siyu, and Huo Siyu drove to Island No.3 alone.
The outcome wasn't at all surprising; as far as Shen Li knew, not once had Huo Tianqi ever won any debate between them, uncle and nephew.
This could also be called a loss to the one who cares more, for Huo Tianqi did not wish to break ties with Huo Siyu. Given Huo Siyu's unyielding stance, he had no choice but to step back.
"Wait for my return," said Huo Siyu, reaching out to hug Shen Li and planting a kiss on her forehead.
Shen Li obediently nodded her head, not daring to ask when he would return. She didn't even dare utter the usual parting words, like 'come back soon'. All she said was, "Be careful on the road."
Huo Siyu strode forward, and Shen Li only paused at the entrance hall, not following any further because Huo Tianqi had also stopped there.
