The cultural festival committee proceeded smoothly without any further incidents.
The committee chair laid out the restrictions for each class's attractions, what was permitted, how to apply for equipment loans, how to register performances for the courtyard stage, and various other important announcements. It was our job as committee members to take these details back to our classes and help ensure our booths ran smoothly.
Next came assigning responsibilities.
During the festival, committee members were tasked with checking food safety regulations, managing booth locations, handling visitor reception on public viewing day, assisting performers on stage, creating pamphlets, and other miscellaneous duties.
Since our Class 1-4 had two missing members, we were nervous about getting stuck with the leftover jobs, but as first-years, we were only given relatively light tasks.
"This is more tedious than I expected. The food permit applications sound like the biggest hassle."
