Even I was surprised at my unusual mood. What exactly had me this excited? Maybe it was due to a string of rare events happening one after another.

Just as I jumped and laughed fearlessly, a sudden "nya" interrupted me. Looking towards the window, I spotted a sleek cat with beautiful glossy fur sitting gracefully on the ledge. Her black coat and dignified gaze carried an undeniable aura of elegance.
"Shibahime!?"
"Nyaa."
"Wait… you turned into a cat right after leaving earlier...?"
"Nyaa."
Just how high was her compatibility with being a cat? And to think she'd come straight to me after transforming. Maybe cats instinctively gravitated towards each other? Who knows what unconscious cat logic was at play here?
Carefully, I approached the window, slowly extending my hand, cautious not to startle her away.
