Kain followed behind a small group of large grotesque creature as black as ink except for their armour.
Their body was covered with glowing bone armor, the right hand was similar to a dragon claw, but without scales, and the left arm was a huge bone blade.
There was a huge single horn on their head, no nose, exposed fangs in their mouth, and a golden single eye.
Behind each one, was a tail that was tens of feet long, also covered in bone armor, and the end was like a sharp spear tip!
'Damn its ugly…I've never seen an Abyssal creature wear armour before though.' Not to mention this one seems a lot more intelligent than the corrupted spiritual creatures and people Kain had seen in the Dragon's territory.
The corrupted creatures in the dragons' territory had been relentless, but ultimately, they had acted on pure instinct—devouring, spreading, corrupting. But these creatures? They moved like an organized unit. They weren't just wandering aimlessly or attacking whatever they saw.
