"Welcome to the Photonic Playground, Your gold is welcome here..."
"Thank you..." Sarianis replied as she stood, looking to the paintings adorning the walls in front of her.
She wandered to the right, taking note of the three beautiful paintings of landscapes as she began to make her way slowly up the stairs. Her body ached from combat, she seemed to have no rest since she had been released days prior. The last step was the hardest to take as she tried to find a place to stay for a moment of peace. The Inn was far too crowded, they had no extra rooms since everything began. Some people were stranded in the city - though they were alive.
She nearly fell into the chair in front of her, leaning back against the rest as she slid her feet forward. They, like the rest of her, ached.
"Oh dear..." A feminine voice came from the other side of the chamber, "You look famished."
"Maybe." Sarianis said as she let her head roll back. "I just need a few minutes."
"Do you have gold?" The woman asked, "Blame Rasil, He'd probably just assume kick you out if you don't have any. 'No Loitering', the Jerk."
"I have plenty..." Sari replied softly, leaning forward a bit as the woman held out half a loaf of bread and a glass of wine.
"I know the Inn's been pretty overwhelmed with folk since we came to the Isles. Take some wine and something quick to eat."
"Thanks..." She replied, her voice showing how weary she was. The wine didn't last long, nor did the bread... It was easy enough to come by help around here, but privacy was a different thing. "Have a name?"
"Jemma Wilson." She replied happily, "You can stay here for a little while if you're drinking and having a bit to eat but we can't have you too long. Rasil stays downstairs most of the time tending the sales and aside from a customer or two it's usually just Sheddle and I up here."
"Miss..." The Gnome said as he wandered over to her seat, glancing down to her shoes for a minute as she sat drinking another glass of wine.
"Can I help you?" Sarianis replied lazily, letting out a gentle sigh as she finished speaking.
"Well, I couldn't help but notice your shoes are in awful need of repair. See, I'm a cobbler, I can fix them right and give them a nice shine for you. I mean, you can't be fighting with bad footwear can you?"
"How much?" Sarianis asked quizzically.
"First time's free, If you keep coming back after i'll give you a nice discount on repairs and shines and i'm sure Jemma wouldn't mind sharing some wine with you and hearing all about your adventures." Sheddle happily said, his tone very upbeat as he knelt down at Sarianis' feet. He lifted her right foot, checking the underside of her sole for a moment. "Yes yes... Filthy. For a few gold i'll even re-sole them for you."
"Deal..." Sari said as Jemma poured her another glass. "Is there a place to lay down while you work?"
"Right in there miss." Sheddle said happily, "Just to the left of that pretty painting. I should have them done by the morning, i'm awful tied up at the moment."
"I see where this is going!" Jemma said happily, "Sour-puss downstairs can't kick you out if you're waiting for your shoes to get fixed up right. If he tries, i'll put him in his place."
"You two are awful kind..." Sari said as she leaned forward holding her glass in her left hand. She used her right hand to tug her boots off, revealing her bare feet. They were sore and tired, wrapped with white wrappings that were just as worn out as her shoes were. "I'll be sure to come back later."
"Don't mention it. There'll be plenty more wine and food when you wake up. Just head on in and lay down, there's a wooden divider over in the corner we don't really use for anything. I'll pull it over to give you some privacy."
"Thanks..." Sarianis said as she stood up. Sheddle took her boots and set them aside to work on later as Sari began to walk toward the side room. The carpet felt good on her skin as she made her way toward a large purple cushion sitting in the corner completely unoccupied...
Mathew lay on his back, the rug felt nice. He'd only been here for a few minutes having just come into this realm, his body still quaking slightly from his last encounter. He gasped out gently, trying to get his thoughts in order as he regained his energy. He could barely sit up... The little one could hear some talking outside of the room he was in before footsteps began to come his way.

They seemed teasing as they approached, growing louder and louder before he saw the underside of someone foot loom above him for only a second. He gasped, taking in a breath as her foot closed the inch gap between the ground and her toes before he could react at all. Mat expected immediate pain, but that was far from what he got... He could feel her skin press down on him, the sweat rolling around him as his breaths were only filled with the ripe smell of her foot's odor. As her foot lifted from the ground, he came with it.
Sarianis nearly fell into the seat. She didn't bother removing her armor other than her swords, which she set close to her in the event she needed to use them. Then she stretched, flexing her toes tightly as she lay on her back. She watched as Jemma slid the accordion-style divider across the entryway to close her little room off for the time being.
"Sleep well, We'll get you when your boots are done."
"Thanks." Sarianis replied as she reached down to take her foot wrapping off. Her right foot was first, the rather well worn fabric easily slid off of her skin as she tossed it aside. As she reached toward her left though, she could feel - and see - something strange beneath her toes. A blue tuft of hair on something flesh-toned. She roughly picked at it, watching the little thing fall to the cushion beneath her. When she finally could tell what it was, a devious smirk befell her face.
"What is this? A human? I've heard of shrinking potions but this is just ridiculous..." She chuckled as she rolled him to his back. He lay helpless, his little [REDACTED] as he looked up to her wrapped eyes. "Oh... Oh wow, uh..."
The tip of her claw gently brushed the underside of his [REDACTED], causing him to flinch slightly and moan in pleasure.
"I bet you don't understand a word i'm saying..." She said seductively, her voice almost in a whisper so the people outside of the room wouldn't hear her. She resumed removing her foot wrap, setting it aside like the other. She noticed something odd about the human though - he reacted to her removing the wrap. "You have a foot fetish don't you..."
Mat didn't respond. She was right, he couldn't understand a word she was saying. He slowly sat up, stumbling to his feet after a few seconds of sitting before Sarianis slid herself back on the cushion. She curled herself up a little bit, bringing her feet close to him as she watched him closely. Her index finger gently tapped on her sole so he could see, letting him know it was alright to do what he wished.
"Go on..." She cooed, flexing her toes as she watched him slowly walk toward her sole. She giggled, using her hand to muffle the sound as she felt his tiny tongue slide across her sole's skin. She hadn't actually had this sort of fun in a very... very... long time. Her weariness came over her again though as she rolled over slightly, curling up on the bed. Alcohol, food, and pampering - she stumbled into the right art shop tonight.
*** The Next Morning ***
Sari yawned, her eyes opening behind the blindfold she wore as she rolled over. She brought one arm over her head to stretch, looking down her body to her feet. She could still feel him working, his tiny hands kneading her skin and his little tongue licking at it.
"Beautiful little human..." She said with a smile, just as she did - the accordion wall opened up to reveal Jemma. Sari slid her right foot away from Mat, bringing her left over his tiny body to pin him down and hide him. The little human beneath her foot squirmed in pleasure as he was smothered, his back against the soft cushion and his front covered in warm musky flesh.
"Your boots are ready, as is breakfast." Jemma said with a smile.
"Are you always this hospitable to people?" Sari asked as she sat up, pinching Mat's little body into her hand gently enough as to not kill him. She wrapped her feet up quickly before wandering out as Jemma moved the wall back over to the corner near the coffee press.
"Not normally." Jemma replied, "We had to let Rasil know about you too and even he said to let you stay when you need to. I guess the conflict is changing people... Don't let anyone know you're resting here though, we're not an inn..."
"Don't worry... I'm just thankful."
"Must be something about you." Sheddle said as he walked over with her freshly repaired boots. "You can pay Rasil downstairs for the accommodations. We all agreed to split 150 gold if you're willing to pay it."
"More than fair..." Sari said with a smile, taking her boots off of Sheddle's hands. A she did so, she purposefully dropped Mat's tiny body into her right boot.
He couldn't understand any of them. Jemma and Sheddle were speaking in Sari's language so she could understand - which made it impossible for him to decipher anything. He coughed and gagged at the smell, still ripe from combat as he watched Sari's toes come over the mouth of her boot before sliding in after him. He slid forward just as her toes came down, his body winding up beneath her pinky toe as her feet settled into place. She could feel him squirm, causing her to flex her toes just enough to get him in a comfortable position near her pinky.
"Do take care." Jemma said as Sari began to make her way down the stairs. "Fight well, next time you're in Daralan you should stop by. Caeli and Gnolie may be around then too."
"I'll be sure to, thanks for your hospitality..." Sari said as she disappeared from their sight
