"Where have you been?" Daji asks as I run, huffing and puffing, into the conference room for the weekly meeting of the major residents of the Wendigo Residence Inn. "And where has Sun Wukong gone off to?"
I reach for a glass of water. "He's checking the glamping tents."
Daji's eyebrows furrow in confusion. "Now?"
I shrug. "He noticed something out of place. You know how Type A he can be when he decides something doesn't look exactly right."
With a mix of exasperation and pride, Daji says, "Only too well. Should we wait for him?"
"No. He knows when the meeting is. We'll just have to start without him."
I hand out the meeting agenda to the participants: Daji, Odin, Thor, Loki, Waverly, Athena, Erlang Shen, and Mithra.
