"Stop running and fight back, you bastard!" Josh snarled, sneering ugily as he appeared before Blake, mid-swing of his sword to Blake's side. "It's not fun if you run. Plus, I can't show off for the babes properly if you don't fight back. I have you mow!"
Blake raised his katana just in time to block the strike from cutting him in two, but the force of the blow still caused him to slam into the arena wall with a BOOM! causing a dust cloud to arise in his wake.
"Blake!" exclaimed a worried Celeste, her fists clenching, shaking uncontrollably in anger.
She couldn't believe this. She blamed herself for this. Blake was knocked around because of her. He was in this situation because of her. She was certain Blake only challenged Josh because he spoke so badly to her — Blake was just trying to defend her pride and he's getting hammered because of it.
Jabari was in no better state. He was shaking, but not with rage — No, Jabari was shaking with excitement.
