Li Family Mansion, The Fortune City
The Li Mansion was in the Diamond Park Community, located in the heart of the Fortune City. The Li Family was one of the big four families in the city along with the Shen, Song, and Wang Families. The Patriarch of the Li family was named Li Tian. He was a resolute individual who started from scratch. Over three decades he brought the business from a factory to one of the biggest families in the Fortune City.
Li's Family consisted of several core members. Li Tian was the Patriarch, and his Wife Song Mei, his son Li Tao, His brother Li Cheng, and his family of three.
Li Tao was known across Fortune City as a hopeless romantic. He spent the family's fortune to pursue the Young lady of Lin's family named Lin Bingxue.[1]
Sadly, all the efforts turned into naught, and the whole family was destroyed.
Li Tao was currently taking his afternoon nap in his bedroom at the Li Family Villa.
He had an ivory color complexion, but it did not decrease his handsome appearance. His symmetrical face with well-defined jawlines and sword-like eyebrows complimented his well-toned body.
From the looks of it, you could tell he was a person who practiced martial arts regularly.

He sat up and rested his back against bed rest. He looked around and after looking around he found himself in a familiar room. The one he had when he was 21 years old. The one he had when he still had a family.

Neo thought while trying to comprehend this new situation. He tried to connect to the main system to get infromation.
Turns out there is restriction on the interferance he can create in variant worlds like the one he is in. The higher the strain, higher the chances world will fights back. Looking at the low numbers he ignored it and started rehersing his speech.

Remembering all this his eyes turned red. He got up from the bed and rushed out of the room. He saw servants moving across the house preparing for some sort of feast. An elegant and beautiful lady was commanding them to perform tasks. She looked like a queen from a certain drama.
Li Tao looked at her in a trance and suddenly ran towards her.
"Be careful ma'am." a servant shouted.
*hug*
That Lady turned around and a figure hugged her like a bear. She tried to break free but realized it was her son. She patted his back and said,
"A grown man hugging his mother like a child. Have some shame," she said lovingly. She was happy to see her son.
"Mom, I missed you," he said with red eyes tearing up.
"What happened, my child?" There was distress in her voice. She was Song Mei, Li Tao's mother.
"Nothing, I had a nightmare... I saw that I lost you," he said while calming himself down and moving a little bit away. He had a silly smile on his face.
"Nothing will happen to me. We are all safe," she assured him.
"What is happening here, Mom?" he asked.
"Silly boy, Did you forget? Today is the day you are going to the Lin family to propose an engagement. Your dad even prepared a business cooperation contract worth 500 million RMB as bride price." She reminded him of the important date.
"Huh!" Li Tao was surprised and tried to think but suddenly a flood of memories crashed into his mind and made him grin in pain.
*ugh* he clutched his head and sat down.
"What happened to you son? Answer me. Is anyone here? Call the doctor, Immediately!!" She shouted anxiously.
Li Tao was busy receiving memories of his previous life. He realized it was not a nightmare but a future reality he and his family were about to face. He was re-born one week before he offended the protagonist by proposing to Lin Bingxue in front of him.
Then the nightmare began. He was casually slapped in the face by Ye Feng—as if his existence meant nothing.

He said this and walked towards his room intending to rest for some time.

Li Tao returned to his room and lay in his bed. Looking at the ceiling, trying to sort out the memories, and arranging them in a timeline.
He was going through it when he heard a voice in his head.
