[Third Person's PoV]
As the company truck landed on the busy street from the highway intersection, its back end began to sway dangerously. Just as it was about to plow into pedestrians on the sidewalk, a blue blur streaked down the road, weaving through the crowd and moving people out of harm's way just in time.
"Oh, come on! Not you guys too," Ultron grumbled in frustration. Raising his hands, he aimed at another section of the highway and blasted it apart just as the truck passed underneath.
"Shit," Tony muttered as he deftly maneuvered through the falling debris, chunks of concrete smashing into the road around him. Behind him, the sound of screaming filled the air as cars began to tumble off the damaged highway. Just as Tony was about to turn back to help, a red glow enveloped the vehicles, gently lowering them to the ground.
Tony glanced up to see Wanda on a nearby rooftop, her hands weaving as she carefully set the cars down. Seeing that the situation was under control, Tony turned to Melissa behind him. "Take over the bike for me."
"What are you going to do?" Melissa asked, readying herself.
"I'm getting that cradle myself," Tony said. "On the count of three!"
"Three!" Tony shouted, accelerating the motorbike before leaping off.
Simultaneously, Captain America dived down from the rooftops, shield raised, tackling Ultron atop the truck. "GET THE CRADLE!" he shouted.
Melissa, startled, looked back to see Master Splinter riding Steve's motorcycle along the rooftops. Refocusing on the front, she saw Tony rolling inside the truck, fully encased in his symbiote suit. Pressing the side of his helmet, he spoke into his comm, "This is Baby Metal to Eagle Eye. Do you copy?"
"Are you talking to me?" Clint's amused voice came through.
"Duh, who else is Eagle Eye?"
"I copy, Baby Metal. What do you need?" Clint replied, still amused.
"The cargo is secured. Time to open the hatch for a safe delivery," Tony reported.
"Copy, Baby Metal. Hatch is open and ready for deposit," Clint confirmed.
Igniting the thrusters on his feet, Tony soared out of the truck and into the sky, heading towards the waiting Quinjet with its rear hatch open. As he flew, he scanned the Mind Stone inside the cradle, a smirk playing on his lips.
Meanwhile, Ultron and Captain America clashed on the streets of South Korea. Ultron ripped the shield from Steve's grasp and fired a plasma beam, which Steve narrowly avoided, the blast obliterating the ground behind him.
Steve clenched his fist and summoned his shield, pulling it back toward him. Ultron held on tightly, resisting Steve's efforts, but his attention wavered as he spotted Tony flying away with the cradle. If Ultron could have clicked his tongue in frustration, he would have.
Ultron spun around and flung the shield back at Captain America, adding force to the pull Steve was exerting. As the thrusters on Ultron's back activated, he shot towards Tony, raising his arms to attack, but warning signals flashed in his system of an incoming threat.
When Ultron had thrown the shield back, Steve used the momentum to spin and hurl it back at Ultron with all his superhuman strength. Detecting the projectile, Ultron twisted in mid-air, letting the shield whiz past him. His fist glowed red as he fired a plasma beam at the shield, accelerating its speed and power.
Tony detected the incoming shield and extended his arm, generating a hard-light construct of a large shield to protect himself and the cradle. The force of the enhanced shield broke through Tony's construct, hitting him midair. Seizing the opportunity, Ultron closed the distance, engaging Tony in combat. With the cradle in his possession, Tony focused on defensive maneuvers, avoiding Ultron's relentless attacks to prevent damage to the cradle.
"Over here, Baby Metal," Natasha's amused voice called through the comms.
Tony glanced back to see Natasha at the Quinjet's entrance. "If you trust me, I need you to throw it to me!" she said confidently.
Without hesitation, Tony hurled the cradle towards Natasha. Ultron, ready to abandon his fight with Tony, darted after the cradle, but Tony intercepted him.
In a spectacular display, Tony surrounded Ultron in a hard-light construct resembling a baseball. An entire baseball stadium materialized in the air, complete with a giant, light-constructed Tony in a baseball cap as the pitcher, and another Tony in a helmet as the batter, swinging a bat. Multiple versions of Tony were positioned around the bases and in the outfield, each playing a role in this surreal game.
The pitcher Tony spat to the side, adjusted his cap, and wound up for the pitch. Lifting a leg high, he brought the Ultron-ball close and whipped his arm forward, yelling, "AND PLAY BALL!"
The batter Tony puffed his cheeks and swung the bat with all his strength.
CRACK
The force of the hit sent Ultron hurtling through the air, breaking the sound barrier multiple times, creating rings of compressed air as he vanished from view.
Batter Tony tossed his bat aside, which dissipated into the air, and began running around the bases, waving his arms with a triumphant smile. The crowd, also made of light, held up signs spelling "HOME RUN!"
Batter Tony slid into home base, his light construct dissipating as he reached it. The entire stadium faded away, leaving behind a stunned spectators below.
…
Earlier, as Tony hurled the cradle towards Natasha, she focused intensely. "Let's hope this works!" she shouted, diving towards the incoming cradle. As she neared it, she unfastened her belt and crashed onto the cradle, slapping the belt onto it. The belt expanded and secured itself around the cradle.
Natasha pressed the center of the belt, activating its zero-gravity feature. She grabbed her grappling hook, fired it into the Quinjet, and propelled herself inside, cradling the cargo.
"Go! Go! Go!" she urged Clint as the hatch sealed shut and the Quinjet soared through the air.
"We've got the package! It's secured. We're delivering it to Stark now," Natasha reported to the team.
…
"Good work, Mama Spider," Tony responded as he descended back to the ground.
"Mama Spider?" Natasha questioned, puzzled.
"Sorry, I couldn't think of a better code name on the spot. It's the best I could come up with," Tony admitted, a bit embarrassed.
Natasha scoffed lightly before disconnecting.
"Good work, Tony," Steve said as he recalled his shield, strapping it to his back.
"Same to you. That tackle was superb," Tony said, casually fist-bumping him.
Suddenly, a blur appeared before them, and Pietro set Wanda gently on the ground.
"Did you manage to stop him from getting it?" Pietro asked, his Sokovian accent thick.
Steve nodded, confirming their mission's success.
"I mean, didn't you see that spectacular home run I just performed? That should guarantee we had everything under control," Tony said proudly.
"Oh, I definitely saw. I just didn't know what it was," Pietro replied, tilting his head in amusement and curiosity. "How exactly did you do that?"
Tony ran his fingers across his chest and blew on them. "Science."
