Arthur, like everyone else, had heard of the game and was as excited as everyone else to try it, if not even more. With how much he grew bored of his life on earth, this fantasy world was like the divine call he had been searching for. However, there was a very small problem.


He had no money to buy the machine required to access Divinity Online. His wretched life had turned him into a broke teenager with no parents, and no relatives. But, by some kind of luck, he got his hands on one of those machines.

Not knowing what was awaiting him in that world, Arthur was simply seeking one thing... A new opportunity in life and to find a purpose he could work for when he had none so far.

"Sigh, I suppose it's time to leave now. Everyone is here, right?" Standing in front of a large group of people, Arthur spoke, his hands in his pockets. He was eyeing every single person there and registering their faces just in case he needed such information later on.


Next to him was Yonathan's second hand in command and the man who can speak Arthur's language fluently.


"They're all here. We have counted every individual." The man said.


"Counted? How did you count so many people in a few minutes?" Arthur turned to the man with a confused look on his face. It had been barely 10 minutes since he left the shelter, and somehow, the man counted the people present in basically no time.


"I simply counted them through the clicks." The man replied calmly.


"The clicks?" Arthur frowned. "What's that?"
