It's been days since I started this scary and heavy training. I've been staying in my new master's manor.
It was quiet, and this room was equipped with the things I needed to strengthen my body. I stayed late at night to continue.
I was given ten days to practice before Master Li Jin tested my skills in martial arts. He was really terrifying, master.
I sighed when I remembered how many bruises I received because of the stick he used.
"My arms and feet were still aching because of him," I whispered.
I grab my sword and close the door of his training room. I was walking in the hallway when I heard some voices.
I sneakily hide in a corner. I frowned. Who are those two ladies? When did they arrive? Are they spies of assassins to murder us?
"My Lady, haven't you noticed something from Lord Li Jin? I feel like he's acting coldly towards you. He should be happy because the two of you can see each other every day," the servant stated.
