Wu Jinmai's POV
I saw how nervous Shanguan Zu Jin was because of my question. I laugh and tap his shoulder.
"Relax. I was just messing around," I murmur.
I notice how fucking worried he is, and his reaction was priceless. I lean closer and give him a kiss.
"You can love us both. I have her body, but my mind is Li Susu. It's two and one, right?" I joke.
"She's my first love, but you are my greatest love. Wu Jinmai taught me how bitter and poisonous a love can be, but you…" Shanguan Zu Jin paused.
She looks at me in the eyes and smiles after. "You taught how love can be sweet, sacrificing, and can heal wounds," he added.
That made me smile. I held his face and leaned my forehead on his.
"Thank you if you saw my love that way. I promise that I'll show you more things about love. So… promise me that you won't lose your way, okay? No matter how dangerous this journey is, let's hold each other tightly."
I raise my hand and stick my pinky finger. "Promise?" I remarked.
