The wind howled as flames and magma collided, sending crimson ripples across the battlefield.

Akainu sneered, "Heh... As expected, the wicked gather together. Fire Fist Ace, your appearance is timely."

He accused Arashi of attempting to deceive the Marines and the world with lies to save Ace's life, claiming he saw through their ruse.

With a chilling laugh, Akainu launched an attack, prompting Ace to retaliate.

However, Ace quickly realised the vast disparity between their powers; Akainu's magma overwhelmed his flames, rendering his attacks ineffective.

Akainu taunted, "To save Whitebeard and your comrades, you're willing to sacrifice everything—dignity, honor, even your own life. Do pirates like you value nothing?"

He condemned Arashi's agreement to the plan, calling it filthy and nauseating. "Trading your freedom for the survival of the Whitebeard Pirates—do you think you're worthy?"

With that, Akainu's magma fist struck Ace's face, sending him sprawling. He pursued relentlessly, stomping on Ace's chest.

"Our powers aren't on the same level. Accept death; it's the only just end for you." Magma swirled around his right fist, forming a dog-shaped head.

The atmosphere on the battlefield grew tense. Pirates questioned Akainu's words, wondering if Ace had sacrificed his freedom for them and what dealings he had with Arashi.

Confusion spread as they grappled with the revelations. Suddenly, Luffy's voice pierced the air, screaming Ace's name as he ran toward the scene.

Garp, fists clenched, broke free from Tsuru's grasp and charged forward.

As Akainu's magma fist descended, Marco shouted, "Save Ace!"

He soared into the sky, wings beating furiously, but it was clear that no one could reach in time.

Suddenly, a surge of Conqueror's Haki erupted, black and red lightning engulfing the sky above Marineford.

The overwhelming aura left everyone paralysed with fear. Buggy exclaimed, "Admiral Arashi!" All eyes turned to see Arashi, previously incapacitated, now behind Akainu.

His blood-red eyes radiated a chilling, hellish intent. Without a word, Arashi's fist, crackling with black and red lightning, struck Akainu's lower back, causing a visible collapse and explosion.

Akainu's body was sent flying, and his face contorted in shock and fear. He landed with a thud and exclaimed, "You can still move?!"

Arashi replied coldly, "Disappointed? I was just a bit tired." His words sent an invisible gust sweeping the battlefield.

Ace, lying on the ground, was stunned by Arashi's battered yet formidable form and wondered how he could still stand.

Arashi declared, "I've rested enough." In the next instant, he vanished, reappearing before Akainu.

His body tensed, muscles bulging, and with a powerful punch, black and red lightning surged skyward, striking Akainu's face and sending him hurtling like a cannonball.

Arashi appeared above Akainu, expressionless, his body surrounded by crackling energy.

He delivered a devastating elbow drop, sending Akainu crashing into the ground, his internal organs shattered.

Despite his Logia powers, Akainu couldn't withstand the assault, coughing up blood.

Arashi's attacks continued relentlessly; he leapt into the air and stomped on Akainu's chest, the impact causing the ground to ripple outward.

Akainu's body convulsed, unable to resist. Arashi jumped again, delivering another brutal stomp, showcasing the ferocity of close combat.

As Akainu regained consciousness, he saw Arashi descending once more. "Our powers aren't on the same level," Arashi stated, grinding his foot into Akainu's face.

Akainu's eyes burned with rage, his body drenched in blood, suffering the gravest injuries of his life.

Despite his condition, Akainu managed to retaliate, his fists erupting with magma that struck Arashi.

He laughed maniacally, "You're at your limit! How long can that broken body last?"

Suddenly, the smoke cleared, and Arashi was gone. "Even a broken body can end you," came a voice from behind.

Before Akainu could react, a hand slammed his head into the ground, rendering him unconscious. Arashi stood amidst the smoke, exhaling deeply.

He hadn't anticipated Akainu's sudden appearance, but it didn't alter the war's outcome.

He assessed his battered body, noting its numbness and the loss of function in some areas. "Seems I can only die once," he mused.

Though he'd grown stronger through repeated deaths, Arashi never like the feeling of dying, the pain etched deep within him.

Suddenly, laughter echoed behind him. Shadows loomed as Marshall D. Teach and his crew appeared. Arashi turned, eyes narrowing at the sight of Teach.

"Teach, you're like a lingering specter," he remarked. The wind stirred the dust between them as Arashi assessed the formidable group.

He knew Teach's nature: cunning, patient, and ambitious. Now, seeing Arashi weakened, Teach saw an opportunity. "This war has presented many opportunities,"

Teach declared. "Admiral Arashi, your power will be instrumental in my rise."

Though attacking Arashi was risky, Teach believed that possessing his immortality would make him unstoppable. "Soon, the world will enter my era," he proclaimed.

Teach's crew, including Jesus Burgess, Van Augur, Lafitte, Doc Q, and others recruited from Impel Down, stood ready.

Arashi recognised them: Avalo Pizarro, Catarina Devon, Sanjuan Wolf, Vasco Shot, and Shiryu of the Rain.

He smirked, "Birds of a feather flock together."

Teach noted Arashi's lack of fear, his expression darkening. Yet, after a brief pause, he barked an order, signalling the attack.

"Move! We don't have much time! Remember, this is Marine territory!" If there was ever a moment to act on their plan, this was it.

In that instant, the entire Blackbeard Pirates tensed up, cold glints flashing in their eyes.

Marshall D. Teach waited for two seconds, but when no one moved, he realised they were still fearful of Arashi's power. He grinned.

Then suddenly, he raised his right hand high. A black aura erupted, burning like fire, quickly forming into a demonic shadow.

"I've always believed no one can remain at the top forever! Everyone has their era—whether it's Pops or you. You both had your time of glory and peak, but now…"

"Zehahahaha!" Laughing madly, Teach slammed his palm into the ground.

"It's my time now! Dark Vortex!" The ground rippled like water, engulfed by darkness. In a blink, the black wave rushed forward, wrapping around Arashi's legs.

Within the next two breaths, it rapidly spread, consuming the surrounding terrain. "What are you all waiting for?! Do it! He's already at his limit!" Teach roared.

His shout snapped everyone to action. Van Augur's eyes turned sharp as he pulled the trigger.

Bang!

A gunshot rang out. The bullet pierced Arashi's shoulder instantly, blood spraying from the wound. Seeing this, Teach laughed even harder.

"See that? He's finished! He defeated two Emperors of the sea, but even he can't keep going forever!"

Those words put the others at ease. Jesus Burgess shouted and leapt high into the air, throwing a massive punch at Arashi.

But Arashi stood tall, like a mountain unmoved. His body was covered in wounds, holes, and blood. His torn cloak fluttered in the wind—a tragic, imposing sight.

He looked up at Burgess diving toward him, fist raised, his savage, excited grin growing clearer. Arashi clenched his right fist.

Szzzrak!

A flash of black and red lightning surged out. A smirk tugged at his lips.

At the very moment Burgess threw his punch, the air before him trembled. The figure that had been standing there disappeared.

"What?!" Burgess's eyes widened. In the next second, black and red lightning rippled in front of him, followed by a fist the size of a boulder.

BOOM!

A powerful punch landed squarely on his face.

Crack!

A sharp snap echoed. Everyone behind, including Teach, froze in shock.

Burgess's face caved in. From his nose down, bones shattered instantly.

Then, his massive body was launched like a cannonball, flying past Lafitte and crashing into the ground far behind.

"You?" Arashi sneered. "Think you can take advantage of me?"

His thick legs tensed. He stomped the ground with his right foot.

BOOM!

Air exploded around him, the ground shattering beneath the force. In an instant, Arashi appeared right in front of Van Augur.

Teach's expression changed. He swung his fist. "Black Hole!" The overwhelming pull of gravity made Arashi's body stiffen momentarily.

That split second was all Van Augur needed—he fired.

Bang!

The shot hit Arashi's left cheek, splattering blood. Immediately after, the other Blackbeard Pirates fired their guns, swung blades, and unleashed savage strikes.

"Faster! Faster! Kill him!" Teach bellowed.

Darkness surged from his body, covering Arashi, trying to suppress his strength.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Gunfire erupted without pause. Blades sliced the air relentlessly.

Shiryu, sweating heavily, drove a sword straight through Arashi's body.

For a moment, time seemed to freeze. Arashi stood there, his body trembling with each blow, blood bursting from countless wounds.

His expression was cold, his eyes glacial. Everyone who met his gaze felt a chill deep in their bones.

The assault went on for over ten seconds before it finally stopped.

Smoke drifted from Arashi's body.

Countless bullet holes riddled his flesh—so many, it was hard to count.

It was horrifying.

"Is… is he dead?" Lafitte asked, voice shaking. "No one could survive that…" Van Augur muttered gravely.

Teach was drenched in sweat. Even so, he couldn't be sure—because Arashi's eyes…

They still gleamed. Still coldly staring straight at him. "Teach…You didn't really think something like that would kill me, did you?"

The deep voice rang out, accompanied by a cold smile. "What?!" Everyone froze, their faces turning pale in shock and terror.

The body they were sure was dead, suddenly moved. A whirlwind of rage and thunder exploded outward, unleashing a terrifying aura.

"Only you, Teach…I truly despise!"

The chilling voice came from nowhere, and then Arashi's towering form appeared before Teach.

"Ar-Arashi! This is a misunderstanding! I-I surrender! I'll even become a Marine!" Teach screamed in panic.

"Heh…" Arashi chuckled coldly. He clenched both fists. Black and red lightning flared as Armament Haki surged around him.

In the next second, a brutal punch landed squarely in Teach's gut.

BOOM!

A wave of force blasted through his body. Teach bent over, vomiting blood, face twisted in agony and terror.

Another fist slammed into his cheek. Teach lost his balance and fell, stars spinning in his vision. "Help! Someone help me!" he screamed.

But in the blink of an eye, Arashi's foot struck his waist.

BANG!

A dull thud echoed. Teach was sent flying, his lower back shattered. One of his kidneys burst into fragments, utterly crushed.

It was a devastating, agonising blow. The air of Marineford rang with his inhuman screams.

Arashi turned around. Without a sound, he locked eyes with Shiryu, who had crept up behind him.

He grabbed the long blade in Shiryu's hands. "You really are a nasty piece of work," Arashi sneered. Shiryu's face froze. He forced a smile.

But the moment Arashi stared him down, a bone-deep chill spread through him. This man was a monster among monsters.

He had never seen anyone, in such a state, unleash power like this.

Bang!

Another gunshot. Arashi's body shuddered, blood blooming again. Shiryu snapped out of it and tried to draw his blade.

But Arashi moved too fast. In a flash, his other hand grabbed Shiryu's neck and slammed him down.

BOOM!

The ground shook. Shiryu coughed up blood—his neck nearly broken.

"Attack! Attack! Kill him! He's only got a sliver of life left!" Teach roared, clutching his ruined waist.

Van Augur, Avalo Pizarro, and the others were terrified, but driven by fear, they unleashed a relentless storm of attacks again.

This time, to their shock, Arashi just stood there.

He didn't move. Blood splattered with every hit, but his body remained still. "Dead?! Is he really dead?!"

"Zehahahahaha! Arashi is dead!!"

Teach stepped forward, stunned at first, then burst into maniacal laughter.

This time, he was certain. No mistake.

"Now…The world will enter my era!"
