"I happen to be free this afternoon, so I came over to see Mr. Su, since it's just a short walk away. I won't be disturbing you, will I?"
Jiang Ying took off her hat, scarf, and sunglasses, placed them aside, and revealed her delicate face.
"Not at all, I'm just surprised that Miss Jiang, such a big star, would take the initiative to come see me—I'm quite flattered!"
Su Chen laughed, aware that Jiang Ying lived in a nearby hotel, but he hadn't expected her to drop by out of the blue.
"Mr. Su, you are being too modest," Jiang Ying said with a smile:
"We've met a few times; even if we're not friends, we're at least acquaintances, aren't we?"
"That's true."
Su Chen certainly remembered their first encounter, when he must have left a very poor impression on her.
After all, he had kissed her without her consent, though at the time, his main intention was to test Lv Shimo and not to really take advantage of her.
