About thirty minutes later, Mr. Cao completed the detailed imaging tests. A chief physician at the military hospital reviewed the chest X-rays and identified a faint shadow in the left lung. If Ye Qiu hadn't pointed it out, the other doctors performing the tests on Mr. Cao likely wouldn't have noticed it.
The shadow was visible upon closer inspection, but it was still unclear what it could be.
"Sir, I can't say for sure what it is for now, but it does appear to be a solid mass."
The chief physician looked at the X-ray as he spoke.
This proved that Ye Qiu's earlier diagnosis was likely correct.
"Grandpa, it seems Dr. Ye really wasn't wrong."
