Last time, Ye Qiu went to France to treat Count Charley's illness. He told Xiao Hong about it, but didn't mention it to Liu Xia.
"I heard you went to France?"

"I did, and I bought you guys some gifts."
"Where are the gifts?"
Xiao Hong asked eagerly.
"Let's finish eating first, then I'll show you."
Liu Xia, however, felt a bit frustrated. Ye Qiu had gone to France and informed Xiao Hong but hadn't told her.
Just then, the chef at the restaurant finished cooking the first dish.
"Bring over three bowls of rice,"
Ye Qiu instructed.
While the server went inside to fetch three bowls of rice, Ye Qiu began dining with the two women. He hadn't had dinner yet, though the two women had already eaten fast food earlier.
It had probably been a long time since they had seafood.
