She hysterically shouted at Sophia, wanting to catch up and retaliate. But her eyes were burning too much to open properly, and she was wearing inconvenient high heels and a formal dress. After taking just two steps, she slammed into the corner of the stage with a thud, twisted her ankle, and nearly fell to the ground.
"You're the ever-so-afraid-of-ruining-your-makeup Christina. What a pity! Now your makeup is completely ruined—you look hideous!"
Sophia let out a silent sneer and, without hesitation, poured the remaining alcohol over Christina's head. The sharp scream that followed gave her a sense of satisfaction, like kicking someone when they were down.
