Satoru's team ran through the forest, moving straight towards the tower, the morning sun was heating up the entire forest as the team wiped their sweat away.
"Satoru...when was the last time you slept? Your dark circles are scary to look at." Chosuke said looking at Satoru, who despite looking tired and sleep deprived was the most energetic one here.
"Uuggghhhh...promise you won't get mad at me?" Satoru asked turning to look at Chosuke. Chosuke nodded as he ran a little closer to get closer.
"I didn't sleep the day before the exams because I was excited then I was on night duty on our first day here and...then we were attacked, so...I haven't slept in three days." Said said, already knowing Chosuke will freak out hearing it.
"HOLY SHIT!! You need to sleep NOW! Hey Kaito, we should take a break right? Satoru will collapse at any moment if we continue! Let's take a brea.." chosuke was interrupted by Kaito
"Nah, if he wants to continue so we will continue." Kaito said, Satoru showed him a thumbs up. "We can can get a nice long rest after this is done, we should keep going." Satoru showed a bright smile
"If you say so, but if you pass out or get hurt the we will take a rest." "Aye aye captain."
"Hey Satoru, why did you play the prank on me?" Kaito asked looking at Satoru who looked at Chosuke, trying to shift the blame to him.
"I thought it would be funny, that's all." Satoru said blankly. "Was it?" Asked Kaito observing Satoru.
"From how you are looking at me and asking me, not anymore." Satoru said while fidgeting with his fingers, he looked down with a somber look.
"I thought it was pretty nice. But please don't do it again without telling anyone, I almost hurt Chosuke." Kaito smiled as he bumped Satoru with his fists.
"Yeah, tell us before pranking us like that. I felt like I was going to die!" Satoru laughed at hearing Chosuke's complaint
Chosuke was relaxed after seeing Satoru's smile, but Kaito knew the darkness behind the bright smile.
'Satoru...that prank. You didn't do it because it was fun, I'm sure of it. You haven't taken a proper rest in three days, still you are the most active one here. Why is it that you upheld mine and Chosuke's safety over yours?
You took the the strongest one those ninjas and risked your life, when you could've asked us to help. Why is it that you healed our smallest injuries but healed yourself only enough to keep yourself going. Why keep yourself hurt like this? What were you thinking, Satoru?'
Kaito looked at Satoru crack jokes with Chosuke as he passed him a packet of chips, lighting up Chosuke's expression.
'You're scared aren't you, Satoru? I heard what what said to lord hokage, though just barely. Those people attacked us because of you. Are you making us laugh because you feel guilty? Are you atoning by doing all this? I didn't think a carefree person like you would carry a burden this heavy.'
Kaito felt something was off with their surroundings, Kaito signaled them to stop. Kaito used his sensory jutsu to check and his guess was true, Chosuke came closer to Kaito position and asked "Is there someone around us? Why did you signal us?"
"W-we are surrounded, completed surrounded. There are 6 people...with one person with massive chakra reserves." Kaito said as he readied himself
"We're cooked, then aren't we? I didn't even get to lose my virginity." Satoru said while cracking his neck.
Ay landed in front of them with a powerful crash, lightining radiation from his body, zapping all in its range. Despite being younger than Satoru's team, he was taller and more muscular than them.
Satoru looked at the black boy who landed in front of them in confusion "are we being robbed?"
"Yes, kinda! Handover your badges or there will be consequences." Ay said while cracking his knuckles.
"How about you bend over? If you don't there will be consequences. Come to think of it...I haven't eaten dark chocolate in a while." Satoru retorted.
"I-im 9 years old you sick fuck!!! What is wrong with you?!" Ay replied disgusted by Satoru's comment.
"Don't care, if you can breathe then you can Breed." Satoru said while licking his lips hungrily. "S-satoru please stop. They might kill us." Chosuke tried to calm him down.
"I'm going eat that ass or die trying, and ther is nothing you can do to stop me." Satoru while looking at Chosuke's eyes.
Satoru unsheathed his swords and walked towards Ay, meanwhile Chosuke and Kaito focused on the other ninjas, who couldn't stop laughing after hearing satoru.
Ay charged up lightning around his body, while Satoru augmented himself. Ay ran straight at Satoru like a raging bull as Satoru treated him like a raging bull, he baited him and sidestepped in time.
Ay crashed into a tree and destroyed it, the staggered Ay sent splinters everywhere, Satoru rushed him taking advantage of it and slashed, launching a wind chakra wave.
Ay quickly moved away and grabbed a massive boulder and threw it at Satoru, who responded by cutting it into two only to realize the one who threw it was missing.
Satoru was suddenly slammed into a few trees as Ay punched him with full force. Satoru quickly rose back to his feet only to see Ay charging at him again.
Ay outstretched his hand making the handsign of pointing 3 fingers like a spear, Ay hand tore through the ground where he was. Satoru looked back to see the ground was destroyed and the tree he crashed into earlier was completed uprooted.
Satoru swung his sword to launch another wave but was again punched from somewhere. He saw Ay look at him with a mocking expression.
"You probably think that kumo ninjas are nothing but brutes, don't you? I bet you didn't think that I would use a strategy against you." Ay said as he cocked his arm back ready to punch through Satoru
"Your village is represented by a brute, can't really help myself in this case, but I was expecting you to use a strategy." Satoru said as his body suddenly exploded into wind blades which caused devastation to everything around them
Ay was bombarded with several windblades which bypassed his lightning and tore into his skin. Ay kneeled as pain surged through his body, he looked to see his lightining clone be destroyed by a wind jutsu.
"I love this strategy, you know! Replace myself with a clone and then suddenly destroy the opponent's self confidence by showing that all the effort they put in was in vain." Satoru said while walking towards Ay with a noticeable limp.
Ay looked to see Chosuke far off in the distance was struggling while fighting two ninjas at the same time, while Kaito nearby was losing against the three people he was fighting against.
Ay brushed himself off and charged himself with lightning, "your teammates don't have as easy as you, you know that right? They are fighting 2 and 3 people each. I wonder how long they will last with you bragging about how smart you are?" Ay said, Satoru got worried and instantly looked where Kaito and Chosuke were.
'Dumbass! He fell for it!' Ay thought as he took advantage of his opponent becoming distracted and launched another spear at Satoru. What shocked him was that the moment his hand was about to hit Satoru, his teammate appeared out of nowhere and got stabbed in his thigh.
Satoru had used Boogie-Woogie and swapped places with one of the nearby opponents Kaito was fighting.
Kaito was charging up a fireball ready to throw it at the kumo nin in front of him, he could easily hear Satoru and the dark skinned boy talking. He agreed knowing that he wouldn't last long if this kept on.
The kumo nin in front of him was replaced with Satoru who punched another nearby kumo ninja next to him, attaching a paper bomb on him. Satoru pushed the ninja away causing an explosion.
Satoru quickly shot a compressed gale at one of the opponents Chosuke was fighting. The compressed wind blasted the guy and gave just enough time for Chosuke to land a powerful punch and knock him out.
Satoru then rushed back to where Ay was.
All of this occurred in the span of less than 5 seconds.
"AaaahhhHHhH!! It hurts!" Ay was confused to see what happened in the past few seconds. He was attacking Satoru but his hand had created a deep cut in his friend's thigh.
"Hey, I don't think that I could've saved my friends without you telling me, so, thanks!" Satoru said in a mocking tone, which deeply angered Ay who tore off his tattered top and showed off his muscles.
"Are your muscles supposed to scare me?"
"Shut up!" Ay barked out as he placed his friend at the bease of a tree.
Ay weaved some handseals fast enough to prevent Satoru from interrupting him, "lightining style:lightining chakra mode" Ay muttered as massive amounts of electricity coated him.
Ay grunted in pain as his whole body felt like it was pricked by thousands of red hot needles, he saw his muscles twitching abnormally. 'I barely have few minutes while using this, I'll become useless later. Its alright, Kuroi will handle the other two.' Ay thought.
Ay appeared right next to Satoru in the blink of an eye, who couldn't react to Ay. Satoru was body slammed away, his body ragdolled across the battlefield as he landed where Chosuke was fighting the last person.
Satoru landed near Chosuke completely dizzy. Chosuke pushed off his opponent and checked on Satoru, Chosuke realized he had a concussion and went back to fighting, knowing Satoru would eventually get back up.
Ay instantly appeared and punched Chosuke, who tanked it with his pole arm breaking it. Chosuke landed far away from Ay, he looked at the state Ay was in and understood it will be a battle of endurance.
Chosuke opened a box and popped into pill before Ay could punch him, a massive amount of steam was emitted out by Chosuke as a greenish aura blinded everyone who looked at him.
'Kaito won't last long, Satoru already lost, if we want to win then it's up to me. I cannot let what happen back then repeat itself here.' Chosuke thought as he rushed forward to punch Ay who reciprocated. The punch sent shockwaves everywhere.
Chosuke blocked a hit from Ay and jumped high in the sky, Ay taking the opportunity jumped and shot a lightning bolt at him. Chosuke smirked and opened a scroll and stored the lightning and kicked Ay back to the ground with full force.
Chosuke landed to have one of Ay teammates swing his sword at chosuke, who promptly released the lightning from the scroll hitting him full force, knocking him out.
'My original two opponents are down. Once I defeat this guy, I'll help Kaito...just a few more minutes.'
Ay appeared in front of Chosuke, hoping to body slam him with his strength. Chosuke jumped over him and grabbed from behind and suplexed him into the ground stunning him.
'Does this guy not know about anything else other than brawling? I'll be able to handle him as I am if this is all he has.' Chosuke thought as he dodged several strikes and parried the last punch to land a enlarged fist straight into Ay chest.
"Chosuke! Can you deal with him? I'll go and help Kaito." Satoru said breathing heavily while holding his side in pain.
"Yeah, I'll deal with him." Chosuke replied, happy knowing that Satoru was fine and still capable of fighting.
Satoru rushed towards where Kaito was, 'He has it the hardest out of all of us, I tried to help him back then but he might still be hurt.' Satoru looked at the scene in front of him and he was shocked.
