"You are here," the queen said, making Klaus smile.
"Yes, I am here," Klaus replied.
"I did promise you I would come a day before we attack your force. Now, we are ready and will be attacking tomorrow, so I want to know if you are ready to accept the alliance or if we should go back to plotting."
Klaus looked at Jinx, whose hands were on her dagger, and smiled.
"I doubt your scheming will be able to do anything in this regard. So, let's talk like civilized individuals and reach a good agreement."
He walked forward and sat down like a king before turning toward a certain shadow. "You can come out. Hiding in the shadows wouldn't make any difference."
Both the queen and Jinx froze as their blood ran cold. They stared at Kent, not understanding what they should do in this regard. He had figured out someone was hiding in the shadows nearby.
