Karen saw Li Xi entering the restaurant and immediately waved, "Over here."
Li Xi still wore the same jacket he had on the last time they met and walked toward her. Before, their meetings had been either at night or when his head wasn't clear, so Karen hadn't had a chance to get a good look at him until today.
Li Xi still looked young, his hairstyle and clean eyes, along with his clothing style, helped a lot. Karen felt she hadn't seen a man dressed in jeans and a hoodie jacket in a long time.
"What would you like to eat? It's my treat today," she said with a smile, glancing up and noticing the person across seriously perusing the menu. His expression wasn't that of picking a favorite dish, rather, he seemed to be studying a challenging subject.
"This looks good," seeing that he hadn't decided, she reached over and pointed at a dish called "Stir-fried King" on the page. "It's their signature dish; you should try it."
