After lingering for a full half-hour, Chuxia, wrapped tightly in her pajamas and blushing, tiptoed out of the bathroom. She sneakily glanced with the corner of her eye. There was no one on the bed!
She quickly straightened up and looked around... then, with a bitter smile, realized she was still too presumptuous. With his pride, how could he possibly want her at such a time?
Or perhaps, he had already understood what she intended to do from her actions and decided to flee, unsure of his own resolution.
Humans are really strange creatures. She had always been averse to being intimately close to him, but when she realized he deliberately ran away, she felt a subtle sense of loss.
She simply shed her pajamas and stood naked in front of the mirror, examining herself.
