Huo Feng spent the latter half of the night with her, and Pu Sangzhi slept surprisingly well.
She slept soundly until broad daylight, even skipping her usual 6:30 a.m. wake-up time, not waking up until 9:30 a.m.
When she awoke, Huo Feng was also sound asleep with his head down at the desk beside her.
Turning her head and seeing his figure hunched over the desk, Pu Sangzhi felt a twinge of heartache, yet also warmth.
She quietly sat up, shifting her bottom a few times, intending to get up and prepare breakfast first, but unexpectedly, her slight movements still woke Huo Feng up.
Upon waking, Huo Feng had a look of bewilderment on his face, his hair sticking up wildly, with a red imprint on one side of his face, presenting a drowsy appearance.
Despite looking less than refreshed, he still greeted her first thing with, "Hey, did you sleep well?"
Pu Sangzhi reached over to pat down his untamed hair and responded, "Pretty well, and you?"
