Yan Wanqing slept until the afternoon.
When she woke up, there were still birds chirping outside.
It was hunger that woke her.
After drinking all night, her stomach was empty, and she was famished.
Clutching her stomach, Yan Wanqing pushed open the door, intending to go downstairs to find some food.

Two burly men stood on either side of the door, acting as gatekeepers.
