Anna's POV
I could not do anything to stop Nicholas from following me to work even though I was disgruntled last night. It's hard to stay mad at him, he had said he would keep me beside him and he is working hard to achieve that even if it means getting under my skin.
The tall familiar building suddenly brings tears to my eyes.
I haven't been here since Dad died, I wasn't even planning on resuming anytime soon but the shareholders have been calling and clamoring for a meeting.
The bunch of money grubbers don't really care about anything except their money, they are probably wondering who would take over after Dad.
"Good morning Anna". Arman met us at the parking lot and helped me out of the car.
"You look worn out, has the company been that hectic?
How is Lily?" I asked as I walked inside with Nicholas beside me and Arman trailed in behind us.
"She is at the hospital" he replied softly barely above a whisper but I caught it.
"A hospital?
Why?" I asked, surprised.
