Corey Littleton, 6.2 feet (191 cm), 225 pounds (102 kg).
Lean and wiry, almost to the point of being skinny, this was exactly why he was overlooked by every team during the 2016 draft —
Lack of strength.
After all, in his rookie year, he was even lighter.
Over the past three seasons, Littleton has not deliberately bulked up but instead worked on building muscle mass. His sinewy build makes him look even skinnier, almost like a bamboo pole.
As an inside linebacker, Littleton's primary job is to confront running backs. With a frame and strength like his, skepticism about his capability is perfectly normal.
However, this season, Littleton has fully capitalized on his strengths, turning his weaknesses into his assets. Relying on speed and agility, he has become a critical player in both run defense and short-pass coverage. Add to that his long arms and legs, and he's managed an impressive seven pass deflections this season.
