In one corner of the sports ground, Gastella and Xiaohongmao were sitting on a public wooden bench, quietly exchanging words; Kobe was muttering to himself in a wheelchair nearby, seemingly ignored by both of them.
The shadow raised its hand, weaving blood-red text in the air:

The shadow of the girl nodded.
Following her, Ke Mingye walked out of the classroom. As his feet crossed the doorway and stepped into the corridor, in the corner of his eye, he saw two figures.
A boy with bloodshot eyes was hiding in the shadows, his head lowered, staring at the ground; and by the wall, a boy in a hospital gown was silently flipping through a book, his eyes downcast.
The shadow of the girl raised her hand, and a blood-red shadow wove into text in mid-air:
