The vast Galaxy's second quadrant, where people simply divide the Galaxy into four quadrants using the simplest of mathematical methods. Although these quadrants are rarely used in daily life to locate positions, because the area where people live is really small compared to the enormity of the Galaxy.
The two star zones where the Star Alliance began, the Bubble Star Region and the Xunyi Star Zone, are located within the Great Star Zone of the Orion Arm, which is split by the Galaxy's X-axis into the second and third quadrants, with both star zones in the third quadrant. The Orion Arm is approximately 10,000 light-years long and about 3,500 light-years wide, considered one of the most important spiral arms of the Galaxy.
For many civilizations, entire lifetimes might be spent never leaving the Orion Arm. Only High-Level Civilizations continuously break through their travel technology to reach farther boundaries.
