Wang Dahai nodded and briefly explained Wu Yun's identity and why she was living here.
As she listened to Wang Dahai's explanation, Ning Mei said with a smiling gaze, "Do you, by any chance, have a thing for this Wu Yun?"
"Yikes!" Wang Dahai widened his eyes: "Sister Ning, what are you talking about?"
Ning Mei stared at him with amusement for a few seconds, and Wang Dahai felt uncomfortable all over, as if she could see through all the secrets hidden in his heart.
"Alright, I'll stop teasing you."
Ning Mei came out of the room and sat on the sofa: "You go buy the groceries; I won't join you, you've worn me out."
Coughing once, Wang Dahai went out to buy groceries.
While shopping, he called Wu Yun: "Wu, come back for dinner tonight, I'll introduce you to a friend."
Wu Yun was puzzled.
Introduce a friend again?
She murmured an acknowledgment in confusion.
When he returned home with groceries, Ning Mei was on the phone.
