"Of course I do!" Mrs Jiang slammed her hands on the table, the anger made her ready to leave only to stop when she recalled how much she needed the money that Canary could offer. She clenched her jaw, tightening her grasp on her purse which loosened as she didn't want to leave marks on this purse which was her last one.
"Please, don't be so upset," Canary returned to her calm tone, "I was merely curious where you had gotten it and the question about whether you love your daughter wasn't to doubt you. It's just these days there are mothers who would even sell her daughters to old wealthy man."
