Su HaiTan had gone completely quiet. Eerily quiet even. He seemed to have taken her words with complete shock, something she couldn't blame him for as she noticed that he was really not aware of the accident that seemed orchestrated by someone. He didn't take this news well as she saw him staggering to the table, holding to the documents as if confirming everything. It seems after reading it again he realized how everything seems oddly convenient.
The witness was conveniently there. It happened in the dead of night in a road with barely one soul alive to see what had happened. The cameras that recorded everything yet none seemed to prove that his parents were really alive as they drove the car. The fact that they were last seen alive was three hours ago until they had entered the car without a clear proof that they were still alive when they had entered the car again.
