"That was efficient, Miss Lawrence. I didn't know you could act," Kyrell teased as soon as they hit the roads. Her acting was so good that even he, who was quite sensitive and alert when it came to her matters, was fooled until his heart ached for her.
"Mr. Curtis isn't your typical man. Gentle words don't work on him usually. I had to use the hard tactic."
"Is he trustworthy, Miss Lawrence?" Kyrell didn't know anything about the man. So, he was cautious and curious at the same time.
"Oh, don't worry. Mr. Curtis will never hurt a fly, let alone my family who adored him."
Kyrell's interest was sparked. Why did the Lawrence family revere him so much? Did he do something for them to trust him so much?
As if sensing what he was thinking, Sienna hummed lightly in acknowledgment. "He saved Dad and the company in the past. If not for his timely help, the Lawrence Group would have been bankrupt by now."
