Chapter 166 - Six Eyes

Void Sanctuary exists outside the universe and beyond time. This place can only be accessed by Saviors permitted by Gaia and Alaya.

As soon as Charlie opened his eyes, he saw two incomparably beautiful women in front of him.

"Congratulations, Charlie Avalon. You not only obtained Terminus Est but also conquered the Spirits of the Four Divine Beasts. I'm pleased that your combat strength has improved so rapidly. I must admit, the idea of using a Spirit Contractor was brilliant."

Gaia looked satisfied with Charlie's progress. After all, he was her chosen Savior! Plus, among the ten Saviors of the third cycle, his performance was the best.

Thanks to that, she could boast in front of Alaya, who had repeatedly blamed her for choosing low-quality Saviors.

"..."

On the other hand, Alaya stared at Charlie coldly. There were no words of congratulations, no pleasantries.

"State your wish quickly. We need to return the other Saviors as soon as possible."

Charlie leaned back in his chair, observing the Spirit Mark on the back of his hand. This contract was proof of his new power, brought from the world of Seirei Tsukai no Blade Dance.

Not wanting to provoke the cold and impatient Alaya, Charlie got straight to the point without any unnecessary chatter.

"I want the Six Eyes (Rikugan)."

Gaia raised her eyebrows with interest, while Alaya remained expressionless.

"Gojo Satoru's Six Eyes?" Gaia asked, her voice tinged with curiosity.

Charlie nodded. "Unlike the Sharingan or other mystical eyes, the Six Eyes is purely a support type. It has no offensive abilities; its powers are entirely supportive. That shouldn't be a problem, right?"

Alaya offered no comment, simply staring at him as if weighing his decision. However, Gaia smiled faintly. "Very wise. With the Six Eyes, your energy control will become absolute. Not a single drop of energy will be wasted. This means your attack power could increase by up to fifty percent."

Charlie gave a faint smile. That was indeed his goal.

He had always felt dissatisfied with his energy control, or perhaps he simply hadn't grown accustomed to wielding various supernatural powers through Spirit Arts. After all, it had only been about 30 days since he transformed from an ordinary person into someone with magical abilities.

But with the Six Eyes, everything would be different. Atomic-level energy control would make managing every energy output as natural as breathing and moving his limbs.

"However, before you grant it, I want my Six Eyes to be modified. Not to control Cursed Energy, but Magic Essence."

"A minor issue."

Hearing Charlie's words, Gaia chuckled softly, patting her chest confidently.

"Then let's begin now."

Without further delay, Gaia raised her hand. A soft blue light flowed from her fingertips, enveloping Charlie's head.

Closing his eyes, Charlie prepared to endure any pain that might come with the transformation process. However, to his surprise, there was no pain at all. No burning sensation, no piercing pressure in his head—just a gentle warmth flowing into his consciousness.

"It's done. You may open your eyes." Gaia said with a satisfied tone.

"..."

Not expecting the process to be so quick, Charlie slowly opened his eyes.

In an instant, the world before him changed.

Previously, his vision was above average for a normal human, and he needed to use Spirit Arts to mimic the effects of Clairvoyance. Now, everything became crystal clear. Every particle in the air seemed to float in intricate and beautiful patterns. He could see the terrifying currents of energy flowing within Gaia and Alaya's bodies, as if gazing into the vast, endless expanse of space.

Not only that, the color of his eyes that used to be caramel-colored is now a sky blue that is very stunning to anyone who sees it.

However, before he could enjoy it longer, a sudden pain struck his head.

"Ugh..."

Charlie groaned softly. A flood of information overwhelmed his brain, as if the entire world was trying to reveal all its secrets in an instant. He now understood why Gojo Satoru had to wear a blindfold almost all the time.

'The Six Eyes are too taxing on the brain.'

The extrasensory perception and unparalleled visual acuity granted by the Six Eyes were extraordinary, but they could also be a burden. Leaving them open for too long would cause significant mental fatigue.

Seeing his reaction, Gaia smiled gently. "That's what we call the initial side effect. You might need some time to get used to it."

Charlie rubbed his temples. "Yeah... I can feel it."

"But... Since you are a human blessed with Falna by the gods, with your Level 4 strength, your constitution is far superior to Gojo Satoru's. Once you get used to the Six Eyes, you won't need a blindfold."

"Thanks for the reminder, Gaia."

"No problem. The stronger you are, the higher your chances of completing every Quest."

Gaia's cheerful comment was like cold water dousing his excitement over obtaining the Six Eyes. Charlie would inevitably have to face the Abyssal Devourer in the future. After all, he couldn't refuse the orders of his two new bosses.

"Then..."

Just as Charlie was about to state his second wish, Alaya raised her hand to stop him. Her gaze remained cold, but there was an unyielding firmness in it.

"That wish must wait until the other Saviors return." Alaya said expressionlessly.

Charlie frowned slightly but didn't protest. He knew better than to try negotiating with Alaya once her decision was made.

On the other hand, Gaia was gentler in her approach, smiling and explaining further, "There will be an announcement later regarding the top three Saviors. They will be given the chance to make one wish, and you are one of them. However, the other Saviors must not know that you were actually granted two wishs. We don't want to cause jealousy or imbalance among them. That's why we deliberately delayed their return specifically for you to fulfill one wish."

"I see. So, I have to pretend I only got one wish in front of them?"

Charlie nodded in understanding. He would have to wait until the other Saviors returned before he could make his second wish. It wasn't a big deal.

"Exactly. You're quite quick to catch on." Gaia said with a soft smile.

Alaya, who was usually cold and almost expressionless, looked at Charlie with a faint glimmer of satisfaction in her eyes.

"Good. You understand without us needing to explain further."

"Well, I don't want to cause trouble with the other Saviors. If they knew I got two wishs, some might feel jealous or protest." Charlie shrugged casually.

"Stop dawdling, Gaia. Call them back quickly."

"You're so impatient, Alaya."

After a brief argument between the two, Gaia and Alaya simultaneously summoned the Saviors who were in different worlds.

*BUZZ!*

In an instant, the atmosphere of Void Sanctuary changed. The air vibrated, and light gathered in the center of the room, creating a vortex of energy that radiated golden and blue hues. The nine previously empty chairs began to glow with increasing brightness.

Charlie narrowed his eyes, watching intently. One by one, figures began to emerge from the light. They were the Saviors, returning from their missions in different worlds.
