Logan drove Briar from the mansion to the city centre, where she made an appointment with the girls.
When he got there, he didn't spend much time with her but kissed her goodbye before driving away. He didn't bother to wait and greet the other ladies but just left.
Briar didn't mind that as well. She truly didn't like other women looking at her man, even if they were her friends.
Once Logan was gone, Briar headed for the café where they would be meeting.
When she got there, the other three were already there.
"Good morning, guys!" Briar cheerfully greeted them as she joined them at the table.
"Morning, dear!" Bertha greeted in return with a smile as she sized Briar from head to toe.
"Hey, Briar!" Vivian cheerfully waved at Briar.
"Morning, sister-in-law!" Alice's eyes were sparkling as she looked at Briar.
Briar joined the ladies at the table and ordered some water. She was still full and didn't feel like eating anything.
