Briar beamed at the three and returned the greetings cheerfully.
"How was your night?"
"It was great!"
"We slept very well!"
"That's good. Let it be like that always in the future. Did you eat breakfast, already?" Briar asked as she made her way to the dining room.
"Yep. We ate a while ago but Dad didn't. He just left hurriedly," Lyra answered her gaze on the tablet in hand.
Briar nodded, and said, "Okay. Let me eat mine then. I will be leaving at any time from now on!"
"Can we go with you?" suddenly Tiana asked pleadingly, blinking her big eyes at Briar.
Upon hearing that, both Lyra and Cade looked at Briar with sparkling eyes.
