In a temple in the realm of gods high above hyrule a slightly chubby beautiful woman who seemed to be in her 30's or 40's with silver white hair cascading down her back, was pacing back and forth worriedly in the main throne room of the castle. the castle being empty becasue she was the only god of hyrule, the goddess hylia, she used to be three but that was another time and place.
she was worrying because she had planned to descend like other gods and goddess's and even got the permission but what the other gods didn't know is her descent was happening around the time that plague calamity ganon would emerge although her people had gotten the guardian's on their side for the perpetual monster's rebirths that happen every blood moon which was every four to seven days they didn't know that he was gonna use the prophesy against them and take control of the guardians making making their task to seal him again that much harder. she worried for her future champions as they would probably die before her chosen swordsman could end the blight that was calamity ganon.
so she had called in a favor from her friend from the norse mythology whom ruled over death in their pantheon since most gods of death have descended already she was saddled with most of their work making impossible to do the same to make her familia that she desired.
so as compensation she was given a one time gift by all the gods left in the gods realm, a single use ability that would strip herself of the ability to descend for 100 years which would probably be long enough for some gods of death to be bored or bad enough to either descend by their own will or be sent back
but she had no reason to use it because she wanted to make use of it to make a hero worthy enough to fight against all evil, clearing her name and making her embody good instead of the evil that people associate death with.
so helping each other the goddess hylia would sacrifice the swordsman's birth and replace him with a hero whom knows enough of the future history and has the mental skill to do everything the swordsman could have and let the hero make changes to the timeline of his own choice. while he would clear hyrule of the two danger's it hides, he would also be guided by hylia to clear hela's name and hylia would prepare a familia for both her and hela when she finally descends with the help of said hero
as she started getting impatient because the meeting hylia (herself) and hela made was almost up, hylia heard a pop, turning around she relaxed as she laid eyes one her friend who was rather late and rumpled. "ara ara...what happened? your late for such an important occasion such as selecting the soul that would merge with my swordsman. and why do you like you just went through hell and back to get here?" hylia asked while she looked at her friend whose hair was ruffled and her clothes were rugged in places. hela looked like a teenage version of her marvel movies counter part and had short bob cut raven black hair wearing a black dress that clashed with hylia's white.
"well... i just thought we should give our chosen a better chance by making changes to my boon so that he has every ability he would need in the future after all he would be the head of our familia and thus need the ability to get strong enough to last hundreds of years and the abilitie to share that with his loved ones" hela replied because she knew well enough what being alone is like since her mother loki never looked after her before or after odin banished her to helheim to rule. she knew it was because loki wasn't ready for family being so lost in her tricks and pranks. when loki finally got bored hela didn't need a mother anymore and loki decided to try making a familia like other gods who were bored. needless to say hela is angry at loki but doesnt hate her after all most gods follow their faith, and hela was no different after becoming the ruler of the norse realm of death helheim.
"oh? well good because he needs to at least have the skills of the swordsman he's replacing but more is always good." hylia replied hela nodded and they gathered near the throne materializing another counter to it making them to face each other they opened a device that would allow them to see other worlds and started looking for a world that had knowledge of both orario and hyrule. as they looked they found exactly what they were looking for... earth the world of anime and video games orario appeared in their anime and hyrule appear in the games. when they scanned the participants in both they found one ideal candidate a man whom while overweight from indulging in the best of both had the heart to die for a little girl whom was almost hit by a truck while crossing the street.
"we found him" hylia said "indeed after all he won't idle like he did in that life a fresh start is exactly what he wanted anyways." hela replied

-Ugh that hurt well at least that little girl is safe... wait since i died by truck-kun do i finally get another try at life?- he thought unaware he was under the sight of two goddesses from another world. -well whatever at least i don't have to be stuck in this deadend where i made too meny mistakes... i should have stayed in school... i should have got a better job... i should have at least tried better at life then my hobbies...farewell... earth...-

as link opened his eyes he was in white castle in front of two women one the one in a white dress was the vision of gentleness although very slightly chubby she was no means ugly nor overweight just slightly healthier then usual and she seem somewhat motherly the other he recognized as she was similar to the marvel movies counterpart. "um goddess'es? where am i?" Hylia then replied "the land of gods above hyrule although this is temporary we just had to let you know various things before you reborn after all you won see me for 16 years the exact timeframe to do what you plan because thats when he will appear you already know who so i dont to say that but be aware this world isn't only hyrule its also danmachi" "what really? good combo" he replied as both goddesses smiled at that hela then spoke" im giving something you call a system it will first train you to the height of strength that your incarnation had at the end of both his stories and the abilities he had... such as the sheikah slate abilities and later the purah pad abilities while gauging your life like your used to such as the hearts and eating to heal. after you finish the hyrule quests you will get templates and a gatcha of the multiverse to make you stronger." link fist pumped already knowing who he was gonna be born as and replied "cool! does that mean after i take care of calamity ganon and ganondorf ahead of time i can go to orario?" hearing how confident he sounded both goddesses smiled before hylia spoke " yes in fact its why im gonna descend after your done with both because im gonna be the goddess of your familia" link nodded but as he went to talk more he realized he was fading replying quickly he said "wait i need something supercharged with sacred power to supercharge the master sword for ganondorf also the spatial inventory that link had for both fused and fully unlocked" both goddesses nodded while hela swung her arm giving the inventory hylia let out a tear and stored it in the materials section.
gaining both link smiled and nodded before he faded away and was born as a baby in hyrule as none other then link Legend from both breath of the wild and tears of the kingdom.
