Her face had this look of extreme seriousness, and man, I get it, this involves her father after all.
Seeing her looking at me with hope in her eyes almost made me feel a pang of guilt.
'Now is not the time to develop a heart. Let's just mess around and see where this leads to.'
"Before I start... let's switch places. You don't wanna stand here and listen to the history of the world and probably the universe, do you?"
She had her indifferent expression on, yet I could feel the eagerness in her words as she spoke,
"I don't mind standing at all, Please tell me everything that you know."
Hmm, that's what I would expect from the queen of aura farming, but I was not in a mood to just stand here and blabber.
Even scammers need a good environment to scam, and this parking lot was a bit too shabby of a place to mess around with her.
So, I teleported behind her and put a hand on her shoulder from behind her back, and before she could react, I had already teleported us in front of a restaurant I had visited with the kids before.
And as soon as we were in front of the restaurant, she dashed away from me... this speed looked amazing in the show, but right now, I could see her movements... it was just too slow.
She took out her daggers in between.
Scanning her up with my Six Eyes, I could sense her mana levels.
'She's at the peak of A-Rank right now, and with her control, she could probably go toe to toe against a newbie S-Rank hunter.'
But, she's just too slow and we can't have that, now can we?
"Impressive speed... but you won't be in need of that here. Let's go inside, I just couldn't stand that shabby park."
Can't demotivate the kids after all... Gotta praise them for what they have, even though it's her who's older than me... but I'm the stronger one.
She looked around and found that it was not an ambush, and now, people were looking at her defensive stand with curiosity in their eyes.
But she did not care about that at all. If it was someone else then they would feel a bit embarrassed to be the center of attention of the people who were trying to figure out what the hell you were doing.
She put her daggers inside the inventory as she walked towards me and damn, I gotta thank whoever decided on her fashion sense.
A full black top, extremely tight to the body, with black jeans below, perfectly showcasing her curves.
'I can bet a hundred bucks that it is a body suit.'
Her body did not have even a bit of extra fat, yet she was thick from... *cough* the places where it was needed.
She came in front of me, and she stood only a few inches away from me.
She was shorter than me by half a foot, so she looked upwards with a frown on her face, visibly annoyed.
"Next time, don't do that... I don't like to be teleported around without my permission."
My response to that was a smirk on my face.
"Haha... afraid much? Bad experiences with teleportation, huh?"
I expected her to frown more, cause that was what I intended to do with my words, but to the contrary, she just sighed.
"Yeah... since you know about the system, you should also know about how it gives me dungeons and quests to clear."
"And when I first got it, it teleported me to a desert full of monsters, and there were a freaking ton of them there."
"I had to run a lot that day, and I would rather not face the same thing again."
Oh, I remember that. Hmm Anyone would be left with trauma if this happened to them.
"I see... well, I will keep it in my mind for the next time."
Soo Yeon nodded and then moved towards the restaurant.
As she was moving, I could see them jiggling from behind.
'Hehe... Jiggle proudly, for you are the booty of the Shadow Queen in the making.'
I followed her inside as we settled at a table for two and ordered two coffees.
She looked at me with her hands folded on the table as she asked me
"Now, please tell me what is going on. The system, the dungeons, and everything."
I looked deep into her eyes and initiated my ultimate skill: Storytelling.
"Alright. Let's first start with the being known as the Absolute Being. That fucker...."
With that, I explained everything to her about the history of this world. How the hunters came to be, about the war between the Rulers and the Monarchs, and, most importantly, about the Shadow Monarch.
I knew that the Architect might very well be listening to our conversation right now through the system, so I kept my mouth closed about the true intentions of Ashborn and led her into believing that the Shadow Monarch would descend through her body, which aligned with what the Architect knew.
At the end of it, I told her how her father is the vessel for the Rulers, whose purpose was to stop the descend of the Shadow Monarch on this world.
She was listening to the entire story without even saying a word, and when I finished, the first question she asked was,
"How do you know about all of this?"
To answer this question, I had to lie a bit.
"You are not the only one with a cheat. While you are inheriting the powers of the Shadow Monarch, I also got the abilities of some beings. The only difference is that I did not go through any trials for them."
"With those powers, I also got the memories of how the world would be if I did not exist in it, and it is much larger than just Rulers and Monarchs."
"There are beings out there who are far stronger than the Rulers and Monarchs, who can pose an actual threat to reality, yet these beings fight amongst themselves like children."
I was a bit irritated at the last part as I knew if both of these two forces had been united, then the events of Solo Leveling: Ragnarok would have been far easier.
I could force them to work together... but I had different plans for them... plans that they won't be liking at all.
Looking at her face, I could see an expression of disbelief as she finally processed all the information.
"Is there any way to stop this war? I don't want to ruin the only possibility of my family and me reuniting because of being the vessel of a Monarch-"
Her words got cut off in between as she looked at my chest, but I understood that it was the System.
A deep frown appeared on her face.
"I got a system notification just now... it gave me a quest. In 3 days, I will be given the location of a dungeon. If I don't go there, then my heart will stop."
So, the architect and Ashborn have already made their move. Well, that was fast. I thought I would help her level up a lot before dealing with the Architect, but this is fine as well.
"... it also mentioned to bring you along."
"That's interesting, I will have a good time messing around with that bastard."
'I can finally gain some new abilities through him. Hehe, time to fully mess up the plot--'
My thoughts stopped as the word 'plot' reminded me of something else.
This world wasn't just Solo Leveling. Yeah, the world-building and major plot were of Solo Leveling, but there is also something else.
There were some other worlds incorporated in this world as well.
Take Aunt H, Jenny, and Jane, for example. They were from a Pornhwa series called Hyeonjung's Residence, yet their plot was kinda being followed.
The protagonist of that series was still there. He couldn't do anything cause my presence altered the plot, but it was still supposed to go down the same path if I wasn't there.
'I am such a fool... why didn't I think of that before leaving Japan?'
The implications of this were great, as my ex-girlfriend, Ai Hoshino, might be pregnant.
'We smashed a lot when we were together, and during the last day of our stay, she was vomiting a lot.'
We broke up around 2 months ago before I got my memories of my past life and in the plot of her story, she got pregnant by her longtime ex-boyfriend... Which is me in this case as I'm her first ever boyfriend.
Moreover she was said to be on a leave from work... I thought or the previous me thought it was because of the break up... But now all of these lead to only a single conclusion and that was...
'Fuck... Am I going to be a father!?'
