Chapter 228 - Chapter 228

BOOOOM!

Hulk's massive green fist smashed into Captain America's shield, which Ali gripped with everything he had—but even that wasn't enough to counteract the sheer force behind the impact.

A deafening shockwave erupted from the collision, sending cracks through the surrounding buildings as Ali's entire body absorbed the brunt of Hulk's monstrous strength. The force was so overwhelming that his bones rattled violently, and within an instant, several of them fractured under the unbearable pressure.

The shield, though built to withstand the strongest of blows, offered only so much protection as it was driven into Ali's chest, launching him backward like a missile.

BANG!

Ali crashed through the glass windows of a towering skyscraper, shattering them into a shower of deadly shards.

BANG!

BANG!

BANG!

Each wall he collided with was reduced to rubble as he tore through room after room, his body smashing through furniture, concrete, and steel beams alike. He had no control over his trajectory—he was just a rag-doll caught in the force of an unstoppable freight train.

Finally, after what felt like an eternity of destruction, Ali slammed into the farthest wall of the skyscraper. His momentum came to a grinding halt as he slid down the cracked surface, leaving a gruesome trail of blood in his wake.

Shattered wood and jagged debris had embedded themselves deep into his flesh, one particularly sharp piece puncturing his right lung. His breath came in ragged gasps as he coughed up thick, crimson blood, droplets splattering across the broken floor beneath him. His right eye was nearly swollen shut, and his nose was shattered beyond recognition.

"Is he still alive?" Deadpool tilted his head, his tone a mix of amusement and curiosity.

The other heroes paused, watching the destruction unfold. Hulk, still seething with fury, roared from below before leaping onto the level where Ali had crashed, his immense weight causing the entire floor to groan under the strain.

"We can't let him have all the fun!" Deadpool cackled, drawing his katanas as he sprinted toward the crumbling skyscraper, followed closely by the others.

Ali groaned as he pulled out the debris lodged in his torso, his supernatural healing already stitching his wounds together. His right arm twitched violently before black veins covered it entirely, a dark force surging through his body as he slammed his fist into the wall behind him, obliterating it.

His enhanced senses flared just in time to register the shift in air pressure above him—

WHOOSH!

Ali barely ducked in time as Hulk came crashing through the floor like an unstoppable wrecking ball, the sheer force of his presence levelling the entire level in a cloud of dust and debris. The shockwave alone sent Ali skidding backward before he dropped through the gaping hole in the floor, free-falling into open air.

'That's at least fifty points in Strength…' Ali thought grimly, attempting to calculate Hulk's raw power through the system interface.

But there was no time to dwell on numbers. His instincts screamed at him, and he reacted just in time—

A black arrow whistled through the air, its tip glowing ominously.

SNAP!

Ali caught it mid-flight, only to realise a second too late—

'Oh FUCK'

BANG!

The explosive arrow detonated in his grip, engulfing him in fire and smoke.

From a rooftop nearby, Hawkeye narrowed his eyes as he reached for another arrow. "He's still in one piece after that…?" he muttered under his breath, his fingers already drawing back his bowstring.

Above, Iron Man hovered in place, his suit gleaming in the morning sun. He locked onto Ali's signal through his HUD as the smoke cleared.

Ali's face came into view—half of it had been burned away by the explosion. His right eye was missing, and half his nose had melted from the intense heat. Charred flesh clung to his skull, revealing raw muscle beneath.

Yet, to the horror of everyone watching, Ali's ruined flesh began to knit itself back together, restoring him to his previous state.

"Oooooh! He's just like me!" Deadpool exclaimed excitedly, bouncing on his heels. "We could've been besties if you didn't kill Spidey!"

Ali's gaze snapped to the rooftop where Hawkeye stood. His hand twitched—

Suddenly, Hawkeye's body jerked as if an invisible force had seized him. His limbs locked against his torso, and his airway constricted, making it nearly impossible to breathe.

"Ugh—what is this…? Tony—" Hawkeye gasped through his communicator, his vision blurring.

"You're not doing that," a firm voice echoed through the battlefield.

Ali's hold on Hawkeye abruptly vanished. He turned his head sharply—

From within the shattered remains of the skyscraper, floating debris began to swirl, suspended by an unseen force.

The X-Men walked in.

Jean Grey stood at the forefront, her eyes glowing a fiery red as waves of telekinetic energy radiated from her body. Behind her, Storm, Cyclops, and the others emerged, each of them prepared to fight.

BANG! BANG! BANG!

Blasts of repulser energy rained down on Ali from above as Iron Man and his fleet of automated suits unleashed hell upon him.

Ali flicked a hand upward, summoning a thick slab of concrete as a makeshift shield. Sparks erupted as Tony's energy blasts carved through it, disintegrating it piece by piece.

Then, without warning, Ali shot forward.

His movements were impossibly fast, his body weaving through the onslaught of attacks like a phantom. He sprinted across the battlefield, avoiding gunfire and energy beams with terrifying precision.

Hawkeye fired arrow after arrow, but Ali crushed each one mid-flight with a mere thought.

He reached the base of the building and scaled it in mere seconds.

Behind him, Black Panther followed, his vibranium claws digging into the surface as he pursued Ali up the skyscraper.

BOOOOOOOOOM!

A massive explosion erupted as Hulk slammed into the side of the building, causing it to shake violently. The sudden impact sent Ali veering off course, forcing him to leap off the structure—

Only to be intercepted mid-air.

WHOOSH!

A metallic blur slammed into him, locking him in place.

Falcon.

The winged hero grappled Ali mid-fall, holding onto him with a steel grip. His expression was filled with unrelenting rage.

"This is for Cap—UGH!"

Falcon's words were cut short as Ali's hand plunged into his chest, his fingers piercing through muscle and bone.

Falcon's body convulsed, his mouth opening in a silent scream as blood spurted from his lips.

Ali yanked his hand free and ignited his lightsaber.

SLASH!

With a single clean motion, Ali severed Falcon into three gruesome pieces.

The dismembered body parts tumbled through the air before crashing onto the pavement below, landing directly in front of the heroes.

"NOOOOO!"

Tony's eyes widened in pure rage. His suit shifted, forming a high-energy cannon across his chest—

A blinding blue beam erupted from it, tearing through the sky and obliterating everything in its path.

Ali barely managed to react—

BOOOOOOOOOM!

The attack engulfed an entire skyscraper, collapsing it into itself in a raging inferno.

But before the dust could settle—

A portal materialised before Ali.

WHOOSH!

In the blink of an eye, he was swallowed into its depths.

He reappeared inside a glowing yellow barrier, facing none other than Doctor Strange.

"You've caused enough death," Strange said firmly, his voice unwavering.

Ali merely smirked. His left eye darkened as black veins crept across his face.

"What are you gonna do about it?"
