Chapter 230 - Chapter 230

**SLASH SLASH SLASH SLASH SLASH**

Ali erupted from the shadows like a whirlwind of destruction, wielding his lightsaber with a lethal grace that left no room for hesitation.

His weapon hummed violently as it sliced through the air, making contact with the immobilised heroes caught within the grip of Bahamut's eyes.

The first victim was Cyclops, his visor gleaming ominously before it was too late. Without warning, his head was severed cleanly from his body, tumbling away in a grotesque ballet, so shockingly swift that his last expression remained frozen for a heartbeat before rolling across the floor with a sickening thud.

Next came Deadpool, who had seemingly never met a force he feared—or at least, not until now.

Ali struck with surgical precision, burning through him from the very top of his skull right down to his midsection. The loudmouthed anti-hero couldn't react with any of his jokes before his body was destroyed and now he had to wait for it to regenerate.

Wolverine, the indomitable mutant with a healing factor that had faced warriors and robotic adversaries alike, was met with an equally brutal fate. Ali's lightsaber carved through the air and struck true, decapitating Wolverine with a fluidity that spoke to years of training and battle.

His body slumped lifelessly to the ground, the sheer disbelief etched upon his face.

Then, with a brutal flourish, Ali directed his lightsaber at Beast, the intellectual powerhouse of the X-Men. The beastly form of Hank McCoy was cleaved in two, his blue-tinted body stark against the stark white of the surrounding debris as he fell into pieces, the heat of the lightsaber reducing his formidable physique to little more than charred remains.

Ali's final and most precise assault was aimed squarely at the renowned Winter Soldier. Ali pierced through the flesh of his target with a deliberate, fatal blow, the searing beam impacting the left side of Bucky Barnes's abdomen.

In one brutal motion, he drove upward, the blade exiting through Bucky's right shoulder with an appalling finality. The top half of the Winter Soldier's body fell away, leaving the still-beating heart and expanding lungs exposed for all to see, a horrific testament to Ali's deadly prowess.

ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

The moment that had spiralled into chaos abruptly came to a halt as the influence of Bahamut's sinister eye dissipated, releasing the captive heroes from his dark control. They slowly regained their senses, horror dawning upon their faces as the grim tableau unfolded before them. It was a scene rife with death and destruction, a nightmarish landscape of their comrades reduced to shattered remnants.

Ali pivoted just in time to notice a massive arm made of rock soaring toward him, but this time, it wasn't the Hulk wielding raw power; it was something far slower.

In a moment that spoke to his honed instincts, Ali dodged to the side in a fluid motion, swinging his lightsaber in an attempt to sever the rocky arm.

An invisible force struck him, sending pain slicing through his body as all of the ribs on his left side shattered upon impact.

SMASH SMASH SMASH

With tremendous force, Ali was launched backward, crashing into the debris of the towering skyscraper. His body became entangled in the wreckage, being shoved deeper and deeper into the rubble, limbs twisting painfully as jagged shards tore at him relentlessly.

In this moment of agony, Ali had no Spirit left, leaving him powerless to channel the Force to lessen the damage.

'None of them were Avengers…' Ali grimly reflected, his thoughts racing as he assessed the interface displaying his mission status. The tally of his victims remained unchanged.

Bent and broken beneath a concrete slab, a grotesque piece of twisted metal protruding from his midsection.

'Why am I limiting myself...' Ali considered. His eyes darted over to the free attribute points on his interface, still unassigned.

'Should I invest them all into Spirit? Or should I, for the first time in forever, my physical form to gain strength? My body has been at a standstill back on Earth for far too long, unable to improve despite extreme training it has endured.'

As those thoughts coursed through his mind, the debris surrounding him began to glow an ominous shade of red, the very material of the concrete melting under an intense heat and some slabs spiralling upwards as it floated away, allowing fractured shafts of light to illuminate the darkness around him.

When the rubble finally cleared, the heroes who had been watching from above bore witness to an extraordinary sight: Ali, muscles straining as he new life began to pulse through him. He pushed against the concrete with newfound vigour, releasing himself from the suffocating grip of the debris.

The jagged wound that marred his stomach visibly closed, the flesh knitting itself back together in a grotesque yet wondrous display of his regenerative abilities.

Standing tall amidst the chaos, Ali glanced at the still large group of supernatural powerhouses prepared to ravage him; they now watched, a mix of fear and awe mingling in their expressions. Gathering their strength to combat this relentless warrior who had so easily dispatched their comrades, they were left visibly shaken.

"Do not approach him! He's a superior combatant—more skilled than any of us! We must eliminate him from a distance," Tony Stark commanded urgently, his voice a mixture of authority and desperation.

The Iron Man suit settled into a defensive posture, weapons primed and ready, standing alongside the other remarkable heroes who were now aiming at Ali.

Behind the ranks of heroes, Doctor Strange found himself locked in a fierce battle with Wanda, the powerful sorceress straining against him, determined to prevent him from intervening further. The air crackled with tension as the two titans of magic clashed.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH

A piercing scream shattered the tense atmosphere, a sound steeped in sheer madness emanating from above the skyscraper.

But amidst this chaos, they were resolved to vanquish Ali; the mystery of the scream could be addressed later.

BOOOM

Suddenly, without warning, the ground between Ali and the gathered heroes fractured violently, debris exploding outward in a dazzling display of raw power. All eyes ascended heavenward as a terrifying figure emerged, a creature grotesquely stitched together, a nightmarish horror from the realm of nightmares, drifted fluidly into the air between the combatants.

To Ali's fortune, this corpse faced away from him, its ominous red eyes now bearing down upon the assemblage of heroes below.

"What in the world is that?" Tony said.

The Human Torch took quick action, raising a fiery hand and launching a blazing fireball at the hulking mass.

Upon impact, flames engulfed the creature, and the heroes braced for the expected reaction, hoping to see the monster incapacitated. Instead, to their collective shock, the flames washed over its hide with negligible effect, eliciting no discernible response other than making the creature focus on its new targets below.

Erupting in renewed anger, the creature fixed its glowing red eyes upon the heroes, unleashing a devastating laser beam that flew directly at them.

Quick on the draw, Tony Stark deployed a blue plasma shield that absorbed the furious energy with ease, while Sue Storm created two transparent barriers to intercept the oncoming attack, reflecting the laser eerily around them.

The beam ricocheted, striking the monstrous corpse squarely in the head and knocking it back into the concrete around it.

It repeatedly slammed its limbs into the remains of the structure, sending tremors reverberating through the building as it vanished and reappeared in an instant.

The heroes could barely react as the creature blinked between them. However, Iron Man's suits had anticipated this relentless foe, automatically erecting barriers to fend off the imminent threat. But this time around, the creature shifted its strategy; it did not attack with lasers.

Instead, it employed its colossal fists to strike against the protective barriers, and those shields faltered under the strain, collapsing one after the other as the abomination unleashed its maddened strength.

In the first-floor shadows, Ali was watching the superhuman corpse take on the formidable forces of the assembled heroes. Every strike, every display of raw power, crafted a dramatic skirmish.

Moment by moment, the supernatural monstrosity held its ground against the relentless united efforts of their superpowers, but as Wanda and Doctor Strange stepped into the fray, the odds shifted dramatically. The sheer force of their combined magic began to overwhelm the creature, binding it in chains of bright red telekinesis while Sue's shields converged around it, attempting to render the powerful entity powerless.

'I don't have much time left but i might as well use everything i have, with how weak i am it's only foolish to leave them unused', Ali decided as he opened up his interface.
