(Taken from some references, the original story doesn't explain why Obito helped Itachi destroy the Uchiha clan, but based on my guess, Obito's aim was to weaken Konoha, preparing for the capture of the Nine-Tails in the future. This seems like a reasonable guess.)
After murmuring to himself, Obito, for the first time in a while, fell silent and turned his attention back to the battle between Uchiha Itachi and Genya.
