Arthur's Family Estate – Late Night
"What? Arthur ran away?" General Aldric Voss's voice thundered in the study. The room fell silent as he glared at his three sons, all standing at rigid attention in their military uniforms.
"How did you let this happen?" His fist slammed onto the table, making the steel cups rattle.
The eldest, Colonel Leif Voss, stepped forward, saluting. "General, I take full responsibility. Arthur… I mean Uncle, he was determined, but... We didn't anticipate that he would—"
"You should always be careful, Leif" Aldric cut in sharply. "You let your own Uncle escape under your watch. This is unacceptable."
Leif's jaw tightened as he stood even straighter next to him; his brother, Major Rhys Voss, commander of an armored division, spoke with urgency. "Father, give us a chance to correct this. I will personally lead the search."
Aldric's sharp eyes shifted to him, but before he could respond, the youngest of the three scoffed.
