After returning home filled with rage, Marc took it out on the first woman he saw in front of him. It was at that moment that Luca bravely appeared, attempting to defend Amelia by throwing a piece of LEGO at the man.
However, this only enraged Marc even more. If he was already someone who easily gave in to his anger, under the influence of alcohol, he had even fewer restraints.
He turned with a murderous glare, staring at the child before him with clear intent to harm. He didn't even bother to question where the boy had come from, he simply marched toward him.
The small boy gripped a toy sword as if it were a real weapon and faced his opponent. Though he trembled with fear, Luca refused to back down.
"You're going to regret this, brat!" Marc growled, raising his hand as if to strike the boy.
Amelia, still on the floor, groaned in pain, clutching the side of her body where Marc had kicked her. But upon hearing the man's shout, she lifted her eyes and took in the scene.
