After taking a good look at the small sword lights all around him, Li Feng noticed that the power of this formation had degraded by quite a lot. Normally the Thousand Nodes Small Sword Slaughter Formation could create one thousand sword lights where each of the sword lights had the strength of a peak foundation establishment cultivator's full powered strike but the current formation one had only managed to create less than 100 sword lights.
This gave Li Feng some hope that he might be able to defend himself. If this formation was at its full strength, the best he would have been able to do was to try to find a run away but with the limited power of the formation, he might just be able to take care of it.
The person who was controlling the formation was just a remnant soul. It had limited amount of spiritual energy and unlike regular cultivator, it was unable to absorb much spiritual energy without a complete soul and body. So if Li Feng could hold on, this remnant soul would become powerless sonner or later.
With this in mind, he completely covered his body in blood armour. He also put Yue inside it and made sure that she was well protected.
Then he created ten thin and small blood needles on the tip of his ten fingers, then using the point piercing technique, he launched them toward the sword lights. Immediately, ten sword lights were destroyed by the blood needles and the danger to Li Feng lessened even more.
The sword lights were greatly slower in speed than the blood needles, so when they finally reached him, Li Feng had managed to launch the tenfold Point Piercing technique six times and had destroyed more than 60 sword lights. So now he only needed to endure about thirty of the remaining sword light.
They connected with his blood armour and were blocked. But at the exact places where the first wave of the sword lights had impacted, the next wave also connected at the exact same spot. After enduring the third waves, fractures appeared on the armour. Then after two more waves, finally the sword lights were able to break through it.
Immediately after that pain assaulted Li Feng's mind and he held back his desire to scream. But with focused manipulation of the blood armour, he managed to protect all his vital places including the area where Yue was hiding.
After all the sword lights disappeared, Li Feng found himself in a terrible condition. His left arm was gone and bones were also visible in some part of his body. The pain he was feeling was truly insane.
But even though his injuries looked extremely terrible, they were actually not that big of a deal. The main aspect of the Blood God Divine Scripture was survivability and with it Li Feng was able to heal from even more horrible injuries in no time. He also had gone support of his special Qi extremely suitable for healing.
Before reaching the foundation establishment stage, Blood God Divine Scripture did not allow Li Feng to get rid of his pain receptors. That was the main trouble that he faced with this attacks. The pain of his body getting destroyed was too much and he almost fainted from it.
While he was still trying to recover his mind from the painfull feeling and was mending his body, a hysterical shouting reached his ear.

Li Feng did not want to endure another terrible attack, so before the remnant soul could use whatever he had taken out, a blood needle pierced the head of the soul.
As the Point Piercing used blood, one might think that it was a purely physical technique. But that was not the case. Point piercing was a complete technique that effected all, Body, Spirit and Soul. For the particular blood needle used in this attack, Li Feng had gotten rid of body piercing ability of the blood needle and instead had boosted the soul piercing power of it.
Even after impaling the soul with his first blood needle, Li Feng did not stop. He released a second and a third blood needle immediately afterward. After getting pierced by three blood needles, the remnant soul was unable to hold on anymore and started to dissipate.
But even in its last breath, the soul looked at Li Feng with hatred filled eyes and crashed the thing it was holding. Then just before completely disappearing, it said with a venom filled voice -
"Worthless demon, the container I crashed had one of the most powerful poison of this world. It was also the reason for my death. Now you will also die through it."
That was the last words that the remnant soul said before it completely disappeared. After hearing that the measure it had used was poison, Li Feng completely relaxed. Because of his Divine Celestial spiritual root, he had access to Sacred Divine Qi. That Qi made him completely immune to any and all kinds of poisons. So Li Feng was completely fearless against it.
But still Yue was not immune to it. Even though he could cure her, getting poisoned was not a pleasant experience. So Li Feng actively started to absorb all the poison inside him.
Yue came out of his blood armour and immediately noticed the dissipated soul energy in the area. Seeing this, she immediately used her Phantom World and trapped the scattered soul energy inside it. Then after getting Li Feng's permission, she started to absorb it.
The Nine Tailed Celestial Mystic Divine Fox had a bloodline specific cultivation method and high quality soul energy was one of the energies they could use to cultivate. If though this remnant soul was very weak, as it belonged to a golden core powerhouse, it's quality was extremely high. By cultivating with it, Li Feng was hoping that Yue would at least be able to reach the 4th rank. Then she would catch up with his cultivation relam.
