"What happened with Carl?" Ranon posted a question, as if Hazel didn't ask anything before. He swiftly changed the topic. "I heard you were with Carl, and you drove him back home. What happened to him?"
"Oh, that one." Hazel turned on the music because it was too quiet inside the car and then crossed her arms.
But it was too loud for Ranon; he wanted to hear her voice, so he turned down the volume a bit. You still could hear the song was playing in the background. It was a sad song.
Hazel frowned, but she said nothing.
Sometimes, Ranon wondered why Hazel was really fond of sad songs.
