It was obvious where Logan's night would end, and once again Hazel wondered why Ranon took her unruly brother in the first place and why he got her here.
This was not appropriate for her to be here, right?
"What happened with him?" Hazel nodded at Ares, who had this blank stare on his face.
"Don't worry, that's how he is whenever he is drunk." Ranon caressed her cheek.
This man only drank a few drinks, and aside from Hazel, he was the most sober here. "What is it? Are you drunk too?" Hazel pushed away his hand; he had been caressing her a lot tonight; she felt like a cat.
"Stop complaining." Ranon took a chicken wing and put it into her mouth when Hazel opened it to talk again.
"Really, I am too old for this. If I had known that you would take me here, I wouldn't have come with you. My back hurts; I want to sleep."
"Old? The last time I checked, I was nine years older than you."
