A crazed grin, a twisted face—Urashiki had completely lost the arrogant composure he once had. Now, he was like a madman, determined to drag everyone down with him in his final moments.
Before Chibaku Tensei could fully form, Minato instinctively appeared in front of Urashiki, Rasengan in hand, ready to stop him.
But at this point, a simple Rasengan wasn't enough.
Urashiki tanked the attack head-on, then turned to Minato with a wicked smile. With a powerful kick, he sent Minato flying down from the sky.
Naruto dashed forward, catching Minato before he hit the ground. Just as he was about to attack, Minato reached out and stopped him.
"Naruto, wait."
Minato clutched his stomach where he'd been kicked, his expression serious.
"This guy's final counterattack isn't that simple. If you force an attack, he might drag you down with him."
Knowing Urashiki, he absolutely would.
"But if we don't stop him…"
Naruto looked up in worry. Chibaku Tensei had already formed, and an overwhelming suction force radiated from the massive black sphere.
Sand, rubble, even the ruins of Roran in the distance—everything was being pulled toward it.
Kurama appeared beside them, resisting the pull as he spoke.
"In theory, if we hit the core of Chibaku Tensei with an attack strong enough, we can break it. But with our current lineup… it's not looking great."
In the original story, Naruto and Itachi used this technique to break Nagato's Chibaku Tensei, but that was because Nagato wasn't strong enough at that level, so his Chibaku Tensei wasn't that powerful.
After all, aside from him, no other Chibaku Tensei had ever been stopped.
Urashiki's attack was completely unleashed without holding back—it was meant to go all out, even at the cost of mutual destruction. If Naruto and Sasuke were at their peak, they could stop this kind of large-scale Chibaku Tensei or even block it entirely, but Naruto right now was still lacking.
Kurama looked at Minato with a serious face and said, "My advice? Run! Get out of here, no hesitation, just run! We're in a desert anyway, and there's no one else around. With your Flying Raijin, Minato, you can definitely take all of us with you and escape."
Minato paused for a moment, not quite understanding what Kurama meant by "run," but he could roughly guess from the context.
He frowned and shook his head lightly. "This attack is strong enough to threaten Roran. We can leave, but what about the people in the Roran shelter?"
"If this attack lands, they'll all die."
Naruto muttered as he stared at the forming Chibaku Tensei. The pull of its gravity was already getting hard for him to resist.
He turned to look below. Pervy Sage, Granny Tsunade, his mother, and some others he didn't really know were all trying their best to resist. But it was obvious to anyone that they wouldn't last long.
Naruto took a deep breath, his expression firming up in an instant. "Kurama, is there any other way besides running?"
Kurama sighed helplessly. "This isn't the time to act tough, alright? With our current power, there's no way we can stop a Chibaku Tensei of this scale. This isn't some simple planetary destruction move, and Minato can't teleport it away."
"There's really no way at all?" Naruto asked, unwilling to accept it.
Seeing his expression, Kurama unusually fell silent for a moment before letting out a long sigh. "Not entirely. If you could use all Six Paths power at once or unleash the full power of all the Tailed Beasts in a single attack, that would definitely be enough."
"Or if Sasuke awakened his Rinnegan right now, he could counter Chibaku Tensei with his own Chibaku Tensei. With your and my support, he could fight Urashiki head-on."
"But right now, neither of you can do that."
Kurama sighed again as he looked up at the Chibaku Tensei still forming in the sky. Its power had already grown immense, covering the entire sky like a dark shadow. "If I could fully control the Six Paths power, I could do something about it. But I'm not at that level yet."
"There's one more way…" Kurama was in the middle of speaking when Minato suddenly interrupted.
Both of them turned to look at him as Minato smiled slightly and said, "Rasengan formed with the same type of chakra can reinforce each other. In my development plans, if they merge successfully, the Rasengan's power will go far beyond expectations."
As everyone knows, Rasengan is like a universal socket—it can adapt to any type of chakra and increase its power. It's like a bottomless pit that can absorb whatever you put into it. If you're skilled enough, you can even mix multiple chakra natures into it.
But! There's one special case where Rasengan can be completely "filled."
That's when two people have the same chakra nature.
This "same nature" doesn't just mean both have Wind chakra or any other element.
Chakra is the power that connects people's hearts. True "same nature" means that two people are deeply connected, care for each other, and would even give their lives for one another. When their hearts and chakra align, their chakras start merging, forming a completely unified nature.
And that is the key to "filling" Rasengan.
Kurama took a sharp breath, as if he had just contributed to global warming, his face full of shock as he stared at Minato. "You mean… the Taiji Rasengan?"
Among all Rasengan-based jutsu, excluding those influenced by Six Paths power, the second most powerful Rasengan technique is the true Taiji Rasengan, formed by the chakra fusion of Naruto, Minato, and Kushina.
Its power surpasses both Rasenshuriken and Tailed Beast Bomb Rasengan, though it only ever appeared in the movies.
If that incredibly powerful Rasengan was combined with Six Paths power…
Hiss!
It might actually be able to destroy Chibaku Tensei directly.
Minato glanced at Kurama with a hint of curiosity but soon gave a slight nod.
"This technique doesn't have a name yet because it only exists in theory. Naruto, I trust you, so… let's surprise that guy a little with our Rasengan."
He stretched out his right hand, and a light blue chakra began to gather, forming a blue Rasengan. The wind gently swirled around it.
Naruto looked at Minato and instinctively reached out his own right hand. A blue Rasengan slowly took shape, glowing even brighter under the reflection of Minato's Rasengan.
The blue and light blue lights intertwined, the winds of different colors surrounding them, guiding their hands closer together.
For a brief moment, Minato smiled. It was as if he could see his wedding with Kushina, the blessings of the entire village, and the joy on their faces when Naruto was born.
In the future... Naruto might be a little mischievous, but with Kushina around, if he ever got too out of hand, she would definitely straighten him out. And when that happened, Minato could sit him down for a talk.
They would grow together as a family, face enemies together, protect the village together, eat together, watch TV together, go shopping together, buy groceries together... do so many things together.
The light blue glow seemed to reflect that future, just like the images Naruto saw in his mind.
Sitting at a small dining table with his parents, sharing a meal—not a feast, just four or five dishes, maybe six or seven. But that didn't matter. What mattered was eating together.
Causing trouble, only to see his mother furious yet unable to bring herself to truly punish him. She would pretend to scold him, but her heart would ache more than any pain she could inflict.
Feeling down, sitting with his father on top of the Hokage Rock, looking down at his own carved face while his father told stories of his past. Then, with a gentle smile, as if saying—
"Naruto, I love you."
