On the day Shanna and Collin got married, all the witnesses made a vow on that day too. They promised to never disclose the marriage to anyone until the couple was ready to share their good news with their families, but Phoebe had unintentionally let the cat out of the bag.
"What?" Phoebe asked, acting as if she had not heard her grandmother's question.
"You just said something about Collin and Shanna." Old lady Mayfair keenly looked at her granddaughter.
"Who?" Phoebe blinked a few times, looking confused like a lost little lamb on a highway.
Old lady Mayfair made a soft growl, "My baby girl, if you do not spill, I will be worse than your mother." She warned softly and yet her voice promised consequences.
Phoebe had no doubt that the news on Collin and Shanna's marriage might make the rounds on the founding lane gossip mill before George and his three wives.
