"Sure," Roderick agreed with a small nod.
As they returned to Ivy's room, he glanced around briefly before saying, "I'd like to freshen up."
"Wait," Ivy interjected, quickly moving to her cupboard. She retrieved a clean towel, knowing the washroom hadn't been stocked with fresh ones yet. "Here," she said, handing it to him while gesturing toward the washroom.
Roderick accepted the towel but hesitated. "I didn't plan on taking a full wash, though," he murmured.
Ivy blinked, realizing her mistake. "What? Oh! Sorry, I thought—"
"It's fine," he reassured her with a slight smile. "I just need to wash my face and hands."
She exhaled a small laugh, feeling a bit flustered. "Yeah, go ahead."
With a nod of thanks, Roderick stepped into the washroom, leaving Ivy to shake her head at herself with an amused sigh.
