Chapter 179 - Chapter 181

"This is..."

Fujiwara Kirito looked up and saw a ball of light suddenly rising above the forest. Then two figures, one big and one small, fell from the light and landed dozens of meters away.

One of them looked to be in his early thirties. He wore a gray top with a blue and white vest. The left sleeve was empty. He had a ninja glove on his right hand, dark gray trousers, new ninja boots, and a black robe. His left eye was covered by bangs. He bore a resemblance to the Madara that Kirito remembered.

This sense of déjà vu was unmistakably the grown-up Sasukae.

But his appearance was a bit worse than when he was a teenager. His cheeks and body were slightly rounder. He was obviously not as handsome as the Sasukae Kirito had just met yesterday and looked slightly frail.

The other person left Kirito speechless.

He appeared to be about twelve or thirteen years old, with golden hair and blue eyes similar to Naruto's. His face shape and eyes were strikingly identical.

The difference was that his hairstyle looked more like a leaf.

The whisker marks on his face also differed from Naruto's—Naruto had three, while this boy only had two.

As expected, this boy was Naruto's son, Boruto.

No way. Little Hinata was snatched away by me.

How could this pineapple-headed kid, who loves to prank his father, exist?

And the time period of the future Sasukae and Boruto seemed to be more than a month earlier than the original timeline.

Although Kirito was reluctant to acknowledge Boruto's existence.

According to the original history, this should have been the time when Jiraiya left Konoha, and Naruto was about to begin his training with him.

Why was this happening earlier now?

Could Kirito's own butterfly effect have caused the time and space of this world to become disordered?

Did this pirated version of Sasukae and Boruto end up traveling to a different point in time?

"Oh, that hurts."

The boy who looked like Boruto landed face-first on the ground, entering the world in the most graceless manner possible.

If he hadn't inherited Naruto's Uzumaki clan physique, someone else might have broken their neck on the spot.

The older version of Sasukae landed safely but was visibly weak. He covered his eye and suddenly half-knelt on the ground, panting, "My chakra is exhausted."

Looking at the older Sasukae, with a face that screamed exhaustion, Kirito's mouth twitched slightly.

Should I say he's truly Hatake Kakashi's disciple?

By middle age, he had become even weaker than his teacher.

Even Kirito and Pakura, who were so close by, hadn't noticed them until now.

Sure enough, Boruto is not Naruto.

"Mr. Sasukae, are you okay?" The pineapple-head greeted Sasukae. Seeing that he was merely out of chakra, Boruto breathed a sigh of relief and began to look around, his gaze finally landing on Kirito and Pakura. "Where is this? There doesn't seem to be any trace of Urashiki. Oh, Mr. Sasukae, there are two people wearing strange clothes over here."

Hearing this, Sasukae turned his head and saw the red cloud and black robe. His brows furrowed slightly. He immediately shielded Boruto behind him and stared at Kirito and Pakura.

"Looking at this weakened uncle, he seems to recognize me." Kirito brought Pakura closer to the two of them and began to assess them.

He wanted to confirm whether this Sasukae was authentic or the pirated one from Boruto's timeline.

Or perhaps they were both from the same parallel world.

Boruto is the sequel to Naruto.

If that was the case, Kirito probably wouldn't be able to resist dealing with Boruto, this troublesome kid.

"Mr. Sasukae, do you know these two?" Boruto asked curiously, oblivious to the danger.

"No, I don't know them." Sasukae shook his head, and the Rinnegan beneath his bangs began subtly analyzing Kirito.

The more he looked, the more uneasy he became. The massive amount of senjutsu chakra within Kirito's body made Sasukae's visibly tired face even more tense.

With this level of chakra, why have I never heard of him in the Akatsuki? Sasukae wondered. And that ring—it doesn't match Deidara's. Could he be Deidara's predecessor?

"Do you recognize him? I'll know after I try." Kirito, oblivious to Sasukae's thoughts, smiled as he drew his Zanpakuto.

The next moment, he realized something surprising—this extremely weakened Sasukae wasn't fooled.

In other words, this weakened Sasukae was indeed from a parallel universe.

Boruto is not Naruto at all.

Kirito smirked and whispered, "Shatter, Kyoka Suigetsu."

In front of the pair from another world, Kyoka Suigetsu's hypnosis ritual was completed.

Seeing the Zanpakuto in Kirito's hand, Sasukae instinctively sensed the danger. He drew the sword at his waist, shielding Boruto behind him, and said urgently, "Boruto, run."

"No, Mr. Sasukae, your chakra is exhausted. I can't leave you alone!" Boruto shouted.

"Don't worry about me. Just leave now, or we'll both die here today." Sasukae's voice was stern.

Kirito was baffled by their conversation.

In an era when ninjas valued secrecy, these two had no common sense—especially Boruto, who openly shouted that Sasukae's chakra was exhausted. Does he want the enemy to know everything?

"It seems I misunderstood." After confirming they weren't genuine, Kirito lost interest. He sheathed his Zanpakuto, left a curt remark, and disappeared into the jungle.

Pakura cast a deep glance at them before following closely.

As soon as Kirito and Pakura left, Sasukae breathed a sigh of relief.

"They're gone." Exhausted again, even drawing his sword and using the Rinnegan to analyze their chakra had drained the little energy Sasukae had recovered.

After resting briefly, the two headed toward Konoha.

Shortly after they left, Kirito and Pakura leapt down from a nearby tree.

"Lord Kirito, the Sasukae just now shares the same name as Uchiha Itachi's brother. Do you know them?" Pakura asked curiously, her gaze following the retreating figures.

"Maybe. It seems we'll need to stay in Konoha for a few more days." Kirito smiled. If nothing unexpected happened, Urashiki would arrive soon.

He wasn't about to miss the chance to take Urashiki's bloodline and dojutsu.

The Otsutsuki clan's biggest flaw was their lack of combat experience. For Kirito, defeating them was almost too easy.

Seeing Urashiki use the ability of time rewinding, which is equivalent to predicting the future, to dodge a normal attack, you can see how bad he is.

He was simply wasting his life, and in the end he killed himself, at the hands of a treacherous guy like Boruto.
